Bottom lane was basically just a weird hodgepodge of lanes where people were splitting CS in weird ways. Like Hotshot+Elementz playing Taric+Sona bot lane and just splitting whatever CS they could get lol.
It wasn't just that. Like shen janna was a fairly common lane where shen would take all the farm and janna would just build 3 dorans rings + boots and wards. Stuff like ali, blitz, poppy, or taric combinations were also common where they would both split the farm. But back then it used to be tank + support bot lane, in some cases double "tanky supports" or w/e you want to call it. Ad's went mid and AP's went top.

The funny thing is i still feel like op release xin got into the game like half a year ago and stuff like old heimer (with grenades hurting towers etc.), old twitch, old panth, old shaco, old kat, red elixir openings, tf with gate being his E and broken as hell PAC, etc were in the game like only a year ago but then i read posts about kindlegem being introduced in 2010 and i feel sad/shocked

You're thinking too recent.
Ali was basically unplayed until CLG made it a thing. This was long after Sona's release/Locket OP period.
Basically TSM already existed at that point. On Sona patch, OddOne and Locust were still on a team together, and Oddone didn't play exclusively jungle yet.

I remember one game where CLG ran Hotshot Cho'Gath and Elementz Shen bot lane. And crushed with it. Shit was so hilarious.
I think so much has happened that it's all mixing together in my head x_x
I miss when sunfires could stack. Sunfire garen and sunfire eve (sunfire did damage even while she was stealth and didn't unstealth her) used to be hilarious.

Eve having a stun was more useful. God the days of Heim/Shaco instabans at the beginning of S1 were hilarious.
