Oh yeah, I use to think the support role was just a filler role and cannot contribute anything to the team, now I main support. Oh and another one, I thought that Morde was suppose to build pure tank.
Nooby things people told me. Doran Blade is shit. Build a long sword so you can build it into something. Never get IE on Ashe, build a Trinity Force instead since you get a slow. Don't pick support.
And quick question, AD Carries up a free flash seem to be flavor of the month. What about Trist?
I remember that i played with my brother a lot, and was entirely confused how he could tell where each enemy champ would go before the game even started, it always seemed like some sort of magic divination to me, that for some reason was almost always correct.
I bought manareg items on everything that had mana, until i did not run out of mana anymore no matter what i did.
Volibear top, always start regrowth pendant because i want that warmogs as fast as possible. Then always getting crushed in lane, and using this as proof that voli top just does not work.
I remember that the jungle was some scary mysterium for me for quite some time, where random creeps appeared at random places and you never know what you get into when you leave the roads. Extremely experienced people knew how to navigate that great unknown and strangely appear behind me in lane and kill me.
Oh, and i used to rage quite a lot because "everybody has a slow, and so much life regeneration, only the champions i play don't!". Turns out they used exhaust and healpots.

Heh, I took fortify on annie for a while because someone with fortify once said "I'd rather have an extra tower than a kill". Didn't stop until spinessheath told me not to get it lol. I was going ghost/flash before that and I think everybody had their "get teleport so you can get to lane instantly" phase.
I also thought ashe was a pretty bad champ because I played mostly annie and just one combo'd them every teamfight and thought that it was ridiculous to not at least buy a banshee veil on an AD carry before getting 2-3+ damage items.
I used to play jax as a second hero after annie but I'd always get raped and have negative KD because I played jungle or duo bot lane and didn't understand that you need lots of farm and levels on melee guys like that to build the damage you need to rape people. I'd just die whenever I went in it was pretty sad days.
When cass was just out on her first free week soraka was free and I tried her out and went bot with a random cass free week guy and we totally destroyed bot because I kept feeding mana (turns out soraka cass is totally rape with starcall/infuse even now huehue) and then I bought locket and talked in chat about how OP soraka was because you can heal, give mana, and then locket gives you healing and mana back and nobody died. My teammates thought it was funny calling soraka OP. Who's laughing now...

Man how good does someone have to be to get to 2900 elo when the pros were like 2100 a few months ago.
In a 5v5 team game too.

In a 5v5 team game too. Not that good because most people are not interested in getting such high elo as it results in ridiculous que times. Saint for instance tanked his elo by playing hard random when he would get too high.

Plus after 2300~ its such a limited player pool that people end up just fucking around, not a real indication of skill alot of the time.

I'm pretty sure at 2900 elo, you q with same player base as 2300 elo. just longer q times. Plus, pros stream as a form of revenue, ergo they want viewers, queues do not make for entertaining streaming content

I used to run Fiddle jungle and do a full clear including dragon at lvl5 in every single game. I had stats like 30-3 with Fiddle in normal games xD

To be fair there's little difference between sleeping dyrus and normal dyrus

The reason people get 2900 elo when pros are 2300 elo is because they are playing consistently and convincingly better than their lower elo counterparts meaning they steadily rise in elo as long as their preformance level is higher than their current elo. As much as you guys like to kid yourselves people tend to play their elo unless they went suddenly from trolling to tryharding for example and you're also kidding yourselves if pros are playing any better than their elo when they're losing solo q and blaming their team. Not only do pros not generally tryhard in solo queue they also are often not on the level where they carry games alone. Saints not great on elo but you also don't see him carrying games when he plays with crs.
I mean really this shouldn't need explaining its just basic mathematics but for some reason people seem to think that players doing a solid top on a top team means they should be able to stomp solo queue when you'll usually find its the players who carry said teams are doing the stomping. (think froggen chaox and such)
I rarely see team members preforming well in solo queue and then feeding in their teams. When hotshot was getting rank 1 in solo q was also when he was a world class top laner.
And yeah, oddone wc3 so funny lol.

God please no. As a (self-rated) decent WC3 player, the way TOO plays WC3 makes me scream. Considering how good he is at LoL his WC3 is really, really, really bad.
Controlling more than one unit = too hard for him.

He's playing to troll and talk though, he's not a wc3 pro and he has to win games before game starts lol Nobody is watching for his pure skill. People don't watch streams for skill in general, unless you use said skill to be entertaining.

It seems to me that the advantage of 2600+ is that you (almost) always get the role you want because you are FP. You rarely see scarra below the 3rd pick and he almost always get to pick mid (unless he meets westdoor), whereas the players between 2.2k-2.3k are sometimes forced to be more versatile.
This is just my observation. I could be wrong.

No it's not fun to watch when he doesn't micro his units at all.
Maybe I just give him too much credit. I am sure it takes like 30 APM to play as a jungler; this role requires almost no raw mechanics at all.

I know I asked this in LP chat, but what mids should I pick into assassins like Kat, Fizz, Kass, etc? My mids so far have been TF, Brand, and Ryze while I've been working on my mid lane. TF feels way too squishy and if you mess up a Gold on an assassin who dives you, it's over. Brand similarly with his stun, but I feel EQ is easier to pull off than Gold Card. Ryze has been working the best, but that early game can be rough against some.
I also have Galio, who I think would probably be a good choice. I'm saving for Gragas, would he be a good pick? Or should I grab someone like Vlad/Swain? I still have Kennen, but he's very squishy whenever I play him :\
