I mean, honestly, that wasn't too bad. Saint was brash and drunk, but it was better for them to talk about it than do petty shit. Probably not the best to do it on stream, but it was entertaining at least. Elementz in the wrong, I think, being too defensive. He should have just said ok, even if it was just to pacify Saint. | ||

Their livelihood depends on the success of the game, so it makes sense that Riot would inform them about the prizepool to help them plan out the next year from a fiscal standpoint. You could also throw around that $25m number to secure sponsors or keep teams from disbanding by helping them evaluate ROI. Riot has also been known to consult with players about upcoming champions, balance changes, etc. (All the pros knew about dominion). So they certainly aren't afraid to trust pros with confidential information. | ||
