No, I'm annoyed that they went above and beyond the call of practice match to make sure that if I tried to come within sight range of my own turret after rezzing, that I died before I even saw a creep wave. Are you actually suggesting that that qualifies as good fun or practice?

Or is 0-14-1 with less than 30 CS all game and 4 levels behind their entire team at the 10 minute mark all in good fun?

I don't understand what you mean by "above and beyond the call of practice". I'd expect players in an inhouse to play hard and do what they believe to be the correct play. If staying in lane and killing you was in fact giving up objectives and not advantageous--and simply done out of spite, then I would object. But generally speaking, suppressing an AD carry's farm bot lane is not exactly a bad play under most circumstances. As an AD player, the onus is on you to find ways to get farm elsewhere, not keep coming back to lane and expect people to baby you by leaving the lane.

If you actually go back and read, even Nehsb admits they went over the top on me, so it sounds like you're just another one of the asshats who wants anybody who isn't cool like you to go back to the solo queue. Which is what I'm damn near coming to, because spending 25 minutes padding someone's K/D is not fun, and it is not practice. There's a difference between making me work for it, punishing mistakes, and making people not want to play. If you can't see the difference, I'm not going to waste my time breaking out an explanation simple enough for you.

what you're basically saying is you want people to go easy on you lol...

In a theoretically friendly game, when everyone knows who's actually better and there's literally nothing at stake? Yes, I'd appreciate if people went easy enough on me that I got to see a creep somewhere besides the minimap. If you think that's asking too much, I clearly got the wrong impression from WaveofShadow's blog talking about LiquidPractice, since I was under the impression it's supposed to be fun and friendly. If people want bad players to say "Fuck this, the TL LoL community sucks", that's fine. Just have the decency not to try and make it out to be people crying, when they actually just bought into the marketing hype.

I've played with and against you and I know where you're coming from -- but honestly, you can't expect the opposing bottom lane to just let you do whatever you want -- otherwise it's not fair to them, who also came to practice. If that's the case, then maybe make it clear before the game starts that you are extremely inexperienced and would like an equally matched lane, or for someone to voluntarily go very easy on you. I remember laning vs you one time, and due to previous experience I knew after 5-6 kills that I should let you farm up so you get a better late-game experience, and help my team around the map (at that point I was kind of fed though, so it's still an issue).

Yes, this is supposed to be a fun and friendly group, but you have to keep in mind almost everyone is coming to practice and improve, and the only way to get around large skill discrepancies are to choose lanes and match them as best as possible (skill-wise) in the group lobby. Otherwise this is always going to happen, and it isn't effective for learning unless the winning lane pays a lot of attention to the losing one's POV and gives them feedback.

I tried saying I didn't want to lane against stxz before the game. I got told essentially the same thing I'm hearing now. "Don't be a baby."

The only ones crying here are the ones getting their little bubble burst by having someone point out that farming a scrub like me doesn't do anything but make them look like a prick.

I'm a huge asshole. But then, that's not exactly any different from anyone else in the channel. But I'm done wasting my time. I'll solo queue. You guys can feel special, and I won't be expected to waste my life in 25 minute chunks getting wrecked by people who just want to stomp on noobs.

JingleHell (7:18): You want fucking crying, lets look at you. "Somebody burst my little epeen bubble by pointing out that absuing noobs doesn't make me good. Waah"
JingleHell (7:19): Yknow, this is why I normally avoid most of TL's gaming side of the community
JingleHell (7:19): too busy being better than the scrubs to look up "community" and find out they did it wrong
JingleHell (7:19): piss off.

And with an impassioned monologue, JingleHell leaves LiquidPractice, vowing revenge; waiting, plotting, biding his time in the darkness for when he can triumphantly return and stomp us all after grinding solo queue...

I seriously think lanes need to be matched somewhat equally in the lobby. From now on, if I host a game, I'm going to implement that -- over the past week the amount of people getting annoyed over extremely unfavored lanes is turning this more from improvement and fun into frustration. I suggest other hosts do the same (unless it's a troll game -- then do whatever the hell you want lol).

Jingle, not to be a dick, but I think you'd be better off practicing 1v1s or Bot Practice (if someone from LiquidParty feels like volunteering) if you're looking for a non-frustrating method of improvement. That, or be willing to lose lane badly until you can improve, and constantly take in advice from other people who are playing vs or with you. From what I've seen your game knowledge is lacking, and that can only be gained through experience with different heroes and roles (although I'd start by focusing on one champ, one role), and a majority of LP players are average, so maybe they could shed some light on the matchups and whatnot.

Edit: Lol Jingle, dude you need to chill. Embrace the game and enjoy, get better, ask for help, etc. That's what the group is for. It is not, however, going to cater to every single one of your needs. We ain't yo bitches.

Comedy gold. So the point of an inhouse is now to make you feel good, instead of, you know, practice?

When I play in these I usually make sure to go against Aaerox or Awnn to make it fair. But then I somehow end up mid vs a random TLer and get crushed npnp.

this is tl tradition
someone will always get stomped and then blame the other person of trying too hard
it's how it has always been
with such a large skill disparity, someone will always complain

if you're getting your butt whooped, i suggest keeping it to yourself, or risk getting laughed at publically

After playing multiple lanes against people like Bezelheim, stxz (seriously, fuck you and your malphite ), and DURRHURRDERP, the best advice I can give is:

Deal with it. Believe it or not, getting stomped is also practice. I wouldn't play if I didn't expect to play people significantly better than me.

this reminds me of the dramas in the original league thread with like utah and wra

regardless i don't think that people should be insulting each other here for what they do during inhouses because the purpose of them is to learn and have fun

Getting beat like going 0/3/x isn't too bad, it happens to most of the 1600s when they get matched against the 1900+'s. It's the getting stomped, rolled and melted constantly that's putting people off. If you go 0/10/1 in lane, you've literally spent more time respawning and walking to lane than in lane.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that there isn't so much to abuse in a lane with 2k vs 1600 compared to 1600 vs 1200. It's much harder to get free harass off and even if you do, people are much less likely to stay in lane with dangerously low health.

I just want to add that nehsb and stxz didn't go bot as part of a grand conspiracy to curb stomp you jingle, it was more that stxz wanted to show aaerox how AD TF is done.

I would like to comment on the game as I laned with Jingle. It was a bit excessive the extent you were killing Jingle. You had won the lane already very hard and still tower dove him again and again. Both aaerox and I agreed it was a bit over the top. Not saying you did anything wrong....but honestly....give the guy a break he's such a beginner.

You gaiz...

LiquidPractice is meant to be a competitive place for TL.netters to mingle and play against each other. This JingleHell debacle has been blown way out of proportion.

1. I've asked time and again that our better players keep things fair for the rest of the channel. The worst "offender" that I've seen is probably Milo but even with him (going Ali and TF very often), he has never beaten a team into submission where they felt overwhelmed. consonants is probably a close second (fuuu Malphite).

2. With point 1 said, everyone should be trying their best. That means if they have the opportunity to curbstomp, they should. At least for that one game. What's the point of holding back? In this specific situation, Nehsb and consonant went Taric and AD TF. If they rolled their lane, just ask them not to do the same again next game.

3. If Jinglehell was already 0-5 in lane, I'd hope that Nehsb's team would ease up. You can always come back from a poor start. Just look at Darien today. Don't be a quitter. Keep on trying.

4. Tying back to point 3, if you're getting curbstomped in a IH, guess what? It happens in solo q as well. At least you have friends in LP who can critique your play.

For clarity, how many times did Jingle die in lane?

I wasn't in the particular game, but I've played plenty of games (especially in bot lane) where that's happened to me as well. It's to be expected, of course, someone who's at a higher ELO will just lane better, and then their instinct is to push that advantage. You can't really blame someone for playing well.

On the other hand, it's rather frustrating to play against someone wayy higher ELO than you just crush you. I'm sure it's not good experience for the better person, either. You don't learn anything by winning easy games.

But honestly, there's nothing you can do about it, unless you only ever lane against someone at or around your skill level. Many of the inhouses are very skewed in lane distributions, but you can't control that.
