With a full 1 second channel time. It's barely a damage increase since you won't be autoing and I can't think of a single team fight where you'd actually get to use it. So more often what happens is you use it before a fight even starts and then whoever got hit by it (usually a high health high armor bruiser) is going to be healed up before the fight begins. Or you use it at the end of the fight after the fight is already won or lost by your team. I literally cannot think of a worse ult in this game. | ||

It can get you an ace, all kinds of stuff, if used on a team with no innate healing someones going to be missing a pretty decent portion of their health. I don't think it's as good lategame as it is early/mid but saying it's bad is just dumb imo | ||

If it were unblockable it'd be an okay skill because it'd actually be a good finisher on low health characters and it could be like a baby karthus ult that you can use before a fight to chunk an ad carry. | ||

The reason why sivir's ultimate isn't as strong of a self buff as most others (draven comes to mind) is that it buffs your entire team in a large radius. If you have a jungler like nocturne/Udyr/mundo and a bruiser like irelia, sivir's ultimate makes them all absurdly strong. Irelia's ultimate actually does a decent amount of damage. The reason people use it to clear minion waves is that it's a simple way to empty a lane so that you can go back and the ulti is back up 20s after you reach lane again. Also, I played a bunch of orianna. The last patch is definitely a buff. It's 10x easier to hit a combo and I haven't failed at killing someone at level 6 yet. Q+W at level 4/5 2 times and chunk them down to 2/3rd health and then once you hit 6, Q>R+ignite, auto+auto >W>Q > auto attacks and they've died every time. wut. xerath ult is pretty good... Have you played him lately? As for Cait ult,. I just remembered that they improved it...want to see if the range and channeling buff is noticeable. If so it makes her even stronger early-midgame and lategame yeah, the ult isn't great but if you initiate at the right time you can treat it like an Ashe arrow and just focus the bruiser you just chunked. | ||

In a large portion of games, hitting an AD carry, AP carry or support will do enough damage to force them to play cautiously or back out from a fight before it begins. With a shorter channel time, it's very possible to channel it from a funny angle and hit one of them. | ||

That's why you don't use it in the middle of the fight. It's just like a Karthus ult. You use it before the fighting starts, after its died down and you're off to a side, or at the end of a fight. | ||
