The reason is two-fold: 1) it scales better per level than Q, 2) you can't miss W. Enemies can get behind a creep or ally to dodge your Q. If you're remotely capable with skill shots, W shouldn't miss. | ||

It's like a free turbo nunu snowball in every engagement. You also don't spam it during lane to harrass if you don't have a soraka, you just use it in engagements and enjoy their AD dealing 0 dps | ||

I don't understand what you're trying to say. If you have the mechanics to juggle one axe, with PD+IE and can do it reasonably well, you're doing as much damage as someone who has IE+BT playing pretty much perfectly. I fail to see how if you misposition where the axe will land with IE+BT, it'll turn out better than if you misposition the axe with IE+PD. If you're unable to reach your axe, your DPS falls off dramatically since your W isn't refreshed. In that scenario, IE+PD will leave you with 20% more dps than IE+BT. The math has been done and IE+PD is, from my analysis, superior to IE+BT in every scenario damage output-wise. Of course, I wouldn't know how the math pertains to real games and scenarios since I've only played draven this free week a handful of times. On a slightly different topic though, when I play any AD, frozen heart+randuins is the bane of my existence. It's pretty much impossible to kill people with that in a reasonable amount of time. When late game comes around and the only AP on the field for your team is TF and the enemy udyr has randuins, FH, GA, mercs, wits and shurelya's, life sucks. You have a bear beelining for you at a retarded speed that slows everything about you down to glacial levels and unless you're kogmaw or vayne, he won't die at any appreciable speed. On the other hand, nunu vayne is retardedly good if you can make it to level 6 on an even footing. If they're anywhere near halfway, you can go into the bush, ulti+tumble out and just all-in them. Nunu's snowball+ulti means that they have to run away since their AD does almost nothing. | ||
