(and EU winning it ofc x)) ) Bruiser bot does beat ad support bot. Just because something wins doesn't mean it's played. You could play ranged ad top and crush the bruiser, but most people don't. Who the fuck knows why. Because AD top doesn't beat bruisers and bruiser+support doesn't beat ad + support? At least if you count jungle interaction top lane. Surely you're not implying everyone swapped from bruiser+support bot and AD top to the reverse for no reason? Obviously there have been some sucessful bot lanes with a bruiser and some sucessful top lanes with an AD but they are the exception not the rule. Bruiser bot isn't bruiser+support. It's a double bruiser lane. People still run it sometimes on NA server mostly in normals. It's fucking impossible to beat as AD+support unless the two bruisers really really misplay it. Actually, you could probably run armpen runes and just farm safely but it's still fucking stupid to play against as AD+support. Won't comment on AD vs bruiser top because that match up is completely reliant on which AD carry you're running and which bruiser they're running. But there are definitely ADs who can crush bruisers in lane, and ADs who can crush various mages in lane. People run the same lane set ups both out of habit and due to the fact that sticking an AD carry with a support guarantees that the guy you absolutely have to get farmed will get farmed. Yeah double bruiser with the second bruiser being leona//blitz//alistar//taric etc aka SUPPORTS. Generally just a kill lane that's extremely easy to gank compared to typical AD/support lanes.

And of course one of the two will usually assume a support role (not the gold/10-runes-and-21-utility-because-I-want-to-be-useless-as-a-support-is-supposed-to-be kind of support), even if he's not a classic support. Double bruiser = bruiser + not Soraka. "support" is just about as controversially defined as "tank" I guess...

Just because I do well with bruiser bot quite often with very specific bruisers who are good at it (fiora, wukong, lee sin, leona) doesnt mean I'm going to say it's viable unless I practiced it against very good ad support players.

Honestly I think this version of Pantheon is the strongest version we've ever had. His early game is weaker than super early Pantheon, but his scaling is so much stronger with low CD HSSes.

It's not really scaling that's killing him late game, it's having to jump into the middle of the fight and die instantly because you are building him pure AD.
He needs to be played really well late game in order to be viable. You need to know precisely when you can afford to stun and not get blown up in a few seconds and then run back out of the fight. It's kinda like talon except talon jumps in, blows everyone up and runs away with his get out of jail card ulti that pantheon frankly does not have. He's still fun though

I don't wanna speak for Smash but I've seen a ton of his Pantheon and I think the philosophy he and Loci adgreed on is that once teamfights erupt and you're either not any longer able to oneshot their squishies because of either lacking damage or a crapload of disruption on their team, you should start using W as a repositioning tool instead of an aggressive move.

Old pantheon you could literally one shot stuff with HSS and it was so much more broken and funny.
I kind of miss old gp where his q could do over 1.5k damage so he'd literally 1 shot supports lol.

Speaking of GP, he's still very good. Except now he only deals 1k dmg with Qs and 2 shots supports  The atma nerf means that you either have to go very tanky with randuins instead of atmas or go the man build which consists of trinity>IE

those barons were insane. First the 15 min baron (not that impressive since they had fiora karthus and a feed team) and in the second game a 18 minute baron with mundo throwing cleavers over the wall till it got to about 60% health and then calling in Vlad and later jax. That was pretty great team-play.

People don't ban Shaco cause he's good but because he's the most fucking annoying thing on earth.
Shen's still really strong and no one likes to deal with his ult, morganas pretty annoying. and Kass usually snowballs vs low level mid players.
Cass isnt banned as much because people arent able to play her like they would be at a high ELO id imagine.

I ban Kassadin because:
1. If I don´t go mid I know that my mid will most certainly feed him and then blame it on me for not banning him, and also the jungler for never ganking.
2. Whenever I go bruiser mid to counter him so bad he can´t do shit, I get shit on by the team and they start raging calling me retarded.

I just played my kassadin vs mordekaiser for the first ever and got absolutely crushed... couldn't poke him low enough through shield and always pushed on tower. He even got to poke me on tower and deny farm with my passive jungler.
I still love playing sion vs kassadin though, the primary reason I don't ban him is in the hope they first pick him and I get to play that matchup.
