Why the hell do people ban these guys? I ask that someone bans ali and soraka if no one else is going to use them (people seem to lose a lot to these guys) and my team tells me "what are you talking about, we gotta ban the standard champs". There's no banning kennen or cassiopia, it's just all come down to some strange default which makes no sense. Morgana is not as good kennen or cass. Shen is not the best top, shaco is pretty easy to shut down with good wards, and kass... is really to counterpick. So why do people keep banning them and insisting that anything else is crazy? | ||

So why do people keep banning them and insisting that anything else is crazy? you ban shit in solo q based on what is the hardest stuff to deal with. yes, in good players' hands and in competent teams stuff like kennen, cassio, ali, soraka can wreck face. But in solo q, stuff like shen shaco kass are just extremely hard to deal with due to low skill level and low coordination. it takes more skill/coordination to deal with those guys than to play them, which is why they're banned. that being said, kennen gets banned every so often and I dont think ali's banworthy at all. | ||

Just because u really cant miss last hits with her, so you get farmed no matter what.  I have friends @ 1200~ elo who hit 100 cs like 5 minutes later then me, but with morg they probably get the same/better creeps.But i am a baddie too, cant last hit for shit.  | ||

Highly depends if people enjoy the gameplay as much as d2 and are willing to grind for even better gear, find better builds, etc. Personally I only played diablo and d2 casually for fun. They did add a lot new unique monsters and features, but i feel like they could have done so much more. | ||

Oh and pretty much any of Callers longer posts. Played 2 games on NA while the D3 servers were down, had 2 quite enjoyable games with MF and Graves right clicking and killing everything. I feel like MF is really strong, is there something I am missing since I dont see her used as much in tournies etc? I mean against lanes such as soraka or sona the healing debuff is pretty strong, her Q, if hit correctly, deals a lot of damage. And the slow to help with ganks+ ulti that is really good with any AoE stun you could bring to a teamfight. Iunno I think I am missing something, might have been because I usually play against Ashe, Cait or Corki with MF or? | ||

Not saying your bad, but Shen and Shaco destroy in solo que, especially in lower elos(ive seen him all the way up to 1900 just wreck games). At my elo *1500ish. It varies, Shaco is often an autoloss, just cause once he gets a kill, my team gets demoralized and it snowballs out of control. Even if you buy a ward for your lane or have your support ward for you, he can still get behind you. And you have no control of your team mates pushing too far etc. Thats the worst about shaco really you can't force your team mates to not over extend, and hell I've died to him way more than once.. .. I have a really low win percentage vs Shaco even with early wardingJungle Alistar is ridiculously powerful, when me and my friend duo he plays jungle ali and just feeds me kills mid over.. and over... and over..., it's pretty disgusting. He's ban worthy, but honestly not that many people play him at the elo I'm at so i haven't needed to ban him. Support ali is good too, but I don't really think he's ban worthy unless you know your bot lane will have trouble vs ali or your at higher elo maybe, Support alis never seem to be good as jungle alis on my team, probably cause of items? Idk, I don't play Ali. Shen is just super strong cause of his ability to afk farm, and then turn fights. He dominates midgame, where he can turn fights into freaking 4v2s.. or 3v2s.. or 2v1s... Also if you freaking get level 16 early, the Shield Strength is ridiculously high, i think it shields 900 damage? That's huge. Really if you use his ult right he's amazing( I have gotten shen a few times recently and just wrecked the games from top lane, which I rarely do, I suck top lane). He doesn't really dominate "Top Lane" per say, but he can farm well in most matchups, and has a huge impact on the game. Some people ban things just if they can't handle them in lane, if you know your gonna get rolled by kassadin in lane and you don't wanna deal with him, it's not a bad ban. If I play someone that I have trouble vs cass with, I'll ban her. Honestly Ive been playing Ahri/Kassadin so I haven't really needed to ban out picks really. Overall I don't think you can go wrong with many bans. there are way more then 4-5 worthwhile bans. Like personally if I know I'm being forced bottom lane, I request a blitzcrank ban. I have these magnet runes/masteries that make it so that I always get pulled by blitzcrank multiple times in lane no matter what. Keenen is strong vs some compositions, some lane matchups etc.. Not a worthless ban. | ||

MF is a lane bully but graves is just a more popular choice and does a similar role (can be a lane bully while he also is fairly tanky for and AD similar to MF's base stats being high for an AD). I still think she is really good though in the right comps of course. | ||
