I think I might of just had a bad game dodging his stuff and hitting Qs but he was able to get a few kills on me. It just seems like he can harass you all day and with blue can clear waves fast. I love ziggs utility, but hes not that great at bursting champs comapred to other aps.

The harass, poke and wave clearing power he gets with that sort of mana regen is quite ridonculous.

I don't think he's a particularly strong laner apart from his decent clears; he certainly gets owned by many mids if they manage to land any skill shots, and he's very vulnerable to being dived IME. That said, he scales really well, so you don't pick him for a strong laning phase -- and with blue buff Karthus is pretty obnoxious against any laners without instant wave clears (Q cooldown too low QQ).

Teemo can auto Galio during his ult without getting taunted. I was really surprised when I found that out, and it seems so wrong. Gali'so taunt range is supposed to be 550 if I read the patch notes correctly, and Teemo has 500 auto range. Even with the auto/spell range inconsistency, it feels weird.

Hes a safe laner who can take advantage of mistakes by hitting Q's and with Wall of Pain can aid whoever ganks mid. He doesn't do so well vs high mobility champs who can make hitting his Q hard while they are doing their combo ala Kass/Ahri post 6 and like LB. As a Main karthus player I hate those three the most, the rest I really don't have much fear of.

I think he has real potential, but I still can't figure out exactly how to build/run him. I see terrible ones who do crap in games, and great Hecs that carry. I saw a jungle Hec invade a Skarner and shit all over him all game while 3its shotting champs in ganks. His damage can be absolutely brutal if you're good, apparently, but the bad ones are reeeeally bad.

A very very well played karthus does well against most AP mids in the sense that they don't outright beat him and he scales better than anyone. He's got very effective zoning tools and is an amazingly safe farmer. Usually when someone says "beat" a lane you expect to kill them but Karthus isn't that great of a 1v1 duelist in lane unless his opponent really messes up and eats a of of Qs or gets caught by wall. He's generally fine against any laner who doesn't have a great gapcloser and enough burst damage to kill him or the ability to use their gap closer to get back away before he can retaliate -- the aforementioned Ahri/LB/Kass, and the likes of Talon and whatnot. He does really well vs Sion, though. Safe pokes with Q at his shield early on and you can push with the best of them and there's no way he can engage on you at your farming range through your wall without taking the worst of it.

Karthus' Q has ridiculous range, so if you're playing against a good Karthus and you try to be aggressive, it's very easy for him to just kite and Q you while you do absolutely nothing to him. Champs with a lot of burst who can't get kited, like Ahri, Veigar, and LB, absolutely destroy him in lane.

I need to play a game where I don't get 3+ kills in the first 10 minutes before I can give a decisive verdict. That said, I think as a community we severely underestimated how ridiculous his kit is for ganking, and by proxy his usefulness as a jungler. Every ability he has is strong in a ganking situation. Put succinctly:
Basically it's nigh impossible to stop Hecarim from catching you, even if he can't slow or auto-attack you he can still kill you, and it's hard as hell to kill him. I fully expect him to get nerfed if he catches on, whether or not he's actually strong. His ganks are Shaco/Rammus level in terms of how annoying/difficult they are to avoid.

The main stat for any jungle is speed. How fast they clear the jungle. That is the starting point for everything that comes afterwards. The question for individal jungle is what, if anything, they trade speed for. Mundo, Udyr, and Noct dont trade speed for anything. WW trades speed for safety. GP trades it for late game power. Shaco and rammus trade speed for absurd ganks. So the real question for Hec jungle is wether or not that trade off is out of whack.
