ive been having alot of success with him up top. been starting cloth5 going wriggles -> boots > sheen > hexdrinker > trinity then tanky from there. your damage isnt OMGWTFBBQ amazing but you will have an effect in team fights. i havent been able to try everything out but id be willing to try things if people want me to

You clearly havnt seen the burst of his R+W combo with lots of AP. AoE burst at that with a CC attached for good measure.

in addition the cooldown on his spells go down when you rank them up. so it's like a 12 second CD on charge and 70 on his ult when you have any cdr.

i had a game his R did 1500 and his W did around 800 and then lichbane procs for 600 damage. and his q was still dealing 100 in an aoe every 1.5 seconds.

Saint is currently playing Hecarim with jiji Lulu and duo queued vs Chauster/DL (Ashe/Janna). He says Hecarim's W is broken and seems to like him.

Now that I've played him Hecarim isn't as bad a jungler as people are making out. I wouldn't say he's top tier, but he's decent. Here's how I played him.

WQQE R>Q>W>E. Boots + 3 Potions. Movement Speed Quints, APen Marks, Armor Seals, Mr Glyphs. Rush Philo + Avarice, then build Brutalizer and Hexdrinker.

His ganks are very strong even before level 6. The speed with which he can zoom into lane is obscene, and it isn't as hard to push people backwards/sideways as one might guess (with just boots one you're moving at 550+ by the end). His Q is a crapton of damage and can be spammed without causing him to stop, making it excellent for chases.

The only real downside to him is that Q is so little damage against minions, but even with that being the case he clears fine. If they increase the damage on his Q to minions beyond 75% he'll immediately be banworthy just for his annoying Rammus-style ganks.

Edit: Hecarim W is definitely broken. If you position yourself correctly you heal for 30% of all the damage you and your teammates do for four seconds. Even fighting 1v1 it's like having 30% Life Steal and Spell Vamp that bypasses the AoE modifier.

I tuned in a bit late, but this game currently, bigfatjiji is completely wrecking that karthus at mid. Actually seems to be wrecking everyone. His ult allowed him to tower dive multiple times. Too good.

i played him twice yesterday (thanks EU-W) as a jungler and i think he's at least decent. His engagements with that uberspeed are pretty awsome (think that speed will get toned down a bit) and the damage is not too bad. And after level 6 there is basically no way to escape if you can catch someone from behind. When they try to flee to their tower with flash / ghost you simply pop that long ass range ult and fear them behind you, ezpz

I kinda like him so far

I've finally figured out whats been really bugging me about Hecarim. Its the proportions. His human half is enormous - his head is about the same size as another character's torso. But then its slapped on top of this tiny horse body. Horses are big. Really big. So Hecarim is this giant-sized human stuck on top of, what relative to the normal-sized characters would be a pony. I know the art style isnt realistic, but he just looks goofy.

Plus there's that damn scythe. I'm all for cool animations and whatnot, but when that goofy pony-giant thing gets in a fight you don't see anything else but that stupid scythe whirling all over the place.

You'd certainly hope, but there are a lot of things with other champions I thought for sure would be changed and never did. Regularly having 600 movespeed is pretty damn stupid, though.

oh man, I've always thought Havoc was good just like executioner was good in offense. What would my 21/0/9 caster mastery be if I don't take havoc? Put 7 points in tier 1?

With so many traps in Def tree, how do you run your x/21/x setups?

that's a decent setup for laning
for jungling i move some of the HP into more creep damage reduction and bladed armor
defensive tree pretty strong

defense has lots of good stuff

+6 armour / +6 mr always good
-2 damage from all excellent
hp per lvl into +30 hp is okayish but not bad
-2 crp damage is good if you plan to take a lot of harrass
3hp5 is pretty good too
MS at >70% hp is nice if you can make use of it
last point -10% cc is nice, 3% hp is a freebie

Teemo changes too stronk. I haven't really see him lose his lane yet at higher elo.

Yeah teemo got buffed and flat MR runes were also nerfed. Were Flat MR runes how Wicked dealt with TheRainMan's Teemo?

Minor question. Do the Armor Pen quints that give 3.33 armor pen if three are used become 9 armor pen or 10 armor pen due to rounding?

Well I mean teemo won his lane before as well.That's the whole point of teemo.The problem were always teamfights and late game.

3.33×3= 9.99 :D So yea 10
It always adds all the values together before rounding up the number as far as I know.It shows the rounded value but the internal stays decimal I think.

i believe the game keeps track and only rounds stuff for display but internally keeps all the decimals, or at least a far number of them.

edit: i just bought a new rune page and its name is a sting of @! and letters and numbers.

The problem with Hecarim is that you can't just right-clic people to do stuff. There's that weird thing called positioning on his ult and E.
And now all those first day purchase that go all "I'm coming to gank !", turn E on for super speed, zoom zoom to the opponent with no regards to you and just ult him back to his own tower.

That champ is a trap for those of us that don't play him nor jungle! T_T
