Please tell me you aren't.

As far as I know, hes an above average player, but not pro, just the first one to have the idea. High enough Elo to know some pros to get it all off the ground. Don't call me on it though, I haven't really watched it since the third or fourth one.

Sure he's not the most attractive looking guy, but he does a good job with interviewing, very personal connection with a lot of the players. Even that SotL at Ipl was pretty legit as well.

I think at this point, I feel like the fact that he comes across as a tool is actually something of a feature of the podcast. I actually like the podcast because his attitude contrasts well with the players. I feel like an actually charismatic host might not even work as well.

Well if you create the show then I guess it's probably you "get to be the host" of SOTL As for the interviewer, no idea. I'm pretty neutral about him, I can listen to him, but he isn't the most exciting and his control over his own show is sometimes lax. And yes, I think Taric is a horrible support, absolutely terrible. He doesn't offer anything comparable to other supports once laning phase is over. I'd rather have the urgot support at that point. His skillset is unbelievably boring. Armor aura, ad/ap aura, a point click stun, weak heal. Woohoo..

Clearly the take home message here is that TL needs to get me some sick connections so I can become the next big thing in LoL casting/media, I promise I will deliver(trust me I am way better looking and way more charismatic than Travis, although that's not saying much).

I hate to say "i lost cause of my team" cause it doesn't help me improve. How do I learn and improve from a game where every lane was feeding. The most frustrating situation was me coming down the river for an easy gank on their sona (who had blown ult already) and sivir. The ezreal and janna stayed at the tower. I knew they had warded part of the brush so I stayed in the fog on the side of their jungle. After entering the jungle bot warns me for the first time "they warded river noob mundo" (they didnt warn me about the brush ward during my first gank bot either) and didn't come to help, both were full while sona/sivir were about half and they just left me to die in the bush under 2 golem camp then flamed me all game for "coming after we warned u about ward **** noob" can I take anything away from a game like this? I guess I can just look for opportunities where I could have carried situations instead of just farming my jungle safely like I did for most of the game since no one would cooperate with ganks

It isn't that Taric is bad but if you want a support with a stun why pick Taric when you could pick Leona or Alistar? Both bring a lot more to a team late game than Taric. Both are stronger in lane too imo. I dunno why people still pick Taric to be honest.

Both are stronger in lane too imo. I dunno why people still pick Taric to be honest. Because there's actually a lot to be said about having a reliable single-target stun that has moderate range and doesn't require a skillshot to set up. As a defensive/frontline stun, Ali/Leona are obviously superior, but Ali/Leona can't be as selective about their stun targets often-times because their stuns being melee/pbaoe means your positioning heavily restricts what you can hit. Though TBH I think Riot caved too easily to the whining about single-target point-and-click stuns. People bitched about Sion+X or Taric+X lanes being too hard to beat and Riot just caved to the pressure and shaved half a second off each of them. It's hard to justify single-target stuns in general when they have LESS duration than their AoE counterparts.

Taric's only a decent pick at the moment vs an AD-heavy team.

However, keep in mind that because this is a team game, some games truly are unwinnable. One possible way to improve when you get absolutely crushed is to take note of what the opposing team did that helped them win. Also, when lanes start to lose, people, especially at lower levels of play, tend to implode on themselves and start tilting really hard. It's important to keep your teammates morale up. Usually that means directing the team to objectives or simply just ganking a ton.
