She isn't underpowered. She is just a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none type of champion. Sure she can fill in any role on the team, but she isn't equal to the normal champions of each role. She trades off a dedicated role for a little bit of everything.

It also makes solo laner much less powerful in that it is much harder for say a Sion to go bot and snowball because even if he does get a kill he gets less experience from it than he would before.
I like it.
I wonder if they changing Nautilus' W procs because it has the same "bug" or mechanic as Teemo poison as well.
I think the naut part is meant to work like that. Says in his tooltip or something.
I really hope teemo isn't too strong this patch. I understand the game will never be perfectly balanced, but it is a lot more fun when the op champs don't include teemo.
I feel like roaming gameplay might make a return. You can get ali/blitz running between jungle and top/bot just being a jerk, then still advance in levels from the assists.
KAYLE!!!!!! Buff isn't that big. her Q still sucks.
It doesn't make sense to nerf defense over offence because offence affects how you do damage to every other target which allows mages to do their jobs. If offence is equal in strength to defense then you can build offensively, win trades, and snowball ahead to have so much offensive power you can kill anyone on the enemy team. The same can't be said of defense.
Yeah after seeing today's games... kog'maw is gonna get nerfed. He's supposed to deal this much damage because he's easy to get to but it's just too easy to protect him for that to work out. Half the games with him there wasn't even a protect comp, they just picked tanky guys to stand in the way. How does ryze olaf mundo peel for kog? That isn't a protect comp.

Instant snare and heavy slows. It's one of those things where if you have a competent team it looks broken as all hell but if you don't, it's garbage.
I love playing Kayle so Im pretty excited about the changes. I've long felt her Q, E, & R were good skills but her passive and W were pretty lacking. Have to wait for the actual numbers, but fixing W will be a very welcome change imo.

Riot is actually quite aware of how Naut's W works currently, at the time of release they designed it that way on purpose. It's still always possible a stealth change might make it through, but they'd have to consciously change the champ to do that. Most likely.

Do you even know what I'm talking about? I'm pretty sure the teams at ipl4 are competent.

So snaring and putting heavy slows on people diving your carry doesn't count as peeling for him?
Either way not everybody plays at IPL level with IPL caliber teammates.

I assumed you meant the opposing team.
I'm extremely skeptical of the doesn't work in pubs argument, both because I don't think it's true and because broken competitive strats that don't work in pubs should still be nerfed.
Man if they nerf AD kog, I hope they do it in a way that does not nerf AP Kog.
really unhappy about the exp change, I think it helps the game as an esport, but I'm not a fan of comeback mechanics. I guess we will see how strong it is in the end.
On the other hand it actually sounds like a much needed change for support.

Umm. Jack of all trades characters (almost) never work.
I.E.
Spellpower Ret paladin (wow) Tri-Sorc (Diablo2, unless you have tals, then its viable but not great) (also various other hybrid builds blow) Mario (SSBM) (also see, Luigi) Klobb (Goldeneye)
ETC
Sometimes a Jack of all trades character gets temporarily buffed into OPness because they become viable in a single role while still being mediocre+ at the other role(imagine Kayle with Ryze's AP power, but maintaining the same sustain/supportiness, another example would be making Annie's shield way better, and able to be placed on any team member).
