Where are the tanks that have abilities that scale with AD? Or does it seem too weird to have a disrupting character that scales of AD? Lets see who's classified as tank: Alistar (All abilities scale on AP) Amumu (All abilities scale on AP) Cho'Gath (All abilities scale on AP) Galio (All abilities scale on AP) Leona (All abilities scale on AP) Maokai (All abilities scale on AP) Rammus (All abilities scale on AP, AD gets increased by armor rating though) Sejuani (All abilities scale on AP) Shen (All abilities scale on AP) Taric (All abilities scale on AP) Volibear (All but one ability scale on AP, the one scales on HP) I know there are some ADs that can be tanky, but they usually don't have skills to compliment that role. | ||

Rageblade is 5 less AD, 20 more AP, 32% Aspd (fully charged) for 1k4 less gold >.> You don't get the lifesteal and spellvamp, neither do you get the active, but on pure offensive stats it's just as good for 60% the cost ! | ||

You need the lifesteal/vamp now more than ever unless you're building atmogs. Rageblade can be great if you have an easy time in lane though, I used to go wriggles-->rageblade in lane often. | ||

Jax will definitly need defense right now, and so should try to get cheap power. A bit like a Wits end on Udyr/Skarner :p | ||

You definitely need sustain of some sort on Jax, but usually I just get a vamp scepter if I didn't get a wriggle's. Gunblade is more of a luxury item or endgame, imo. Usually I end up having to build a Wriggle's for laning anyways, since most people terror me in lane (but I don't really know how to lane with him yet). Triforce is pretty amazing and goes a long way as your only offense item, although usually I end up just building Sheen Phage and then some survivability unless already fed. I liked it a lot better than Gunblade and Rageblade. I had success with Nashor's tooth after Triforce in a couple of games, but it still feels too expensive when I could just get a Wit's End. Having the initial attack speed is really good though imo. With more initial attack speed, you spin up your passive that much faster and of course it synergizes with your ult. Atmog's feels like it does on anyone. It's solid but not incredibly good or anything. | ||

I think gunblade is core. come late game your damage is nowhere near that of an ad carry so the only way to beat them is to burst them down before they can kill you. Gunblade provides AP for the leap strike, counterstrike, attack, empowered attack, ult magic damage proc attack combo, as well as a 300 damage nuke. I think deathfire might even be a good item, since considering that AD carries at level 18 have around 2000 life, before MR or AP is taken into consideration, that's 600 damage from the item. After your enemy team's AD carry is gone, your consistent damage output should be greater than that of your enemy team's tanks and AP carries. I'd have to test gunblade deathfire grasp out. What do you guys think? DFG good item on jax? | ||

I'm wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share their thoughts on who the best solo top champions are right now. I like champions that have a strong late-game provided they have good cs in the laning phase. Riven/Irelia used to be my go to champions, but I'd love to know if there are stronger alternatives now, such as the new Jax? Thanks in advance. | ||

Toplane is really hard to tell, its about your teamcompo, the enemyteamcompo and how you fit in. Gp, Irelia, Trynd, Rumble, Kennen, Riven, Nida, Renek, Monkey, Singed etc etc etc... All good champions, given the right conditions. | ||
