The idea is that people who bought dodge runes for stuff like nimbleness get their ip back and can use it on whatever else they want, while those that liked dodge runes for other reasons could just rebuy them again while dodge is still in the game.

So what do people think of Twisted Treeline? Me and a couple friends have a team we want to secure the name to so we decided to play games. Since we only had three people we opted to play TT and none of us have a clue how to play at all ^_^
Anybody keep up with the metagame for TT and want to offer some insight? I'd rather not play a bunch of 50 minute slugfests where neither side has any clue what to do.

I don't keep up with the metagame that much, but I've played a few games on ranked. Level 1 team fights play a major role. Most teams don't carry CV, and it is much easier to force a level 1 team fight than on SR. There are plenty of bushes you can camp in at the start. What I like to do is camp somewhere in the center to catch their top laner going up for a hassle-free kill. I'm not too familiar with mid and late game so someone else can help you out.

The map is imbalanced as shit. I don't mean hero balance, I mean things like the fact that the early jungle gank is bullshit, and usually necessary due to the poorly considered numbers on the buff creeps, and that dragon and red are incredibly easy to take relative to their value, and that the fountain is so powerful defensively. I played like 3-4 games a day of it with my relatively casual irl friends on it for a month and a half and then played in a tournament and I feel like I know it well, it's fun, I like it, but the map is BAD.

Jax is ridiculously good now, dunno if OP or too powerful but he is really fun to play. Also the changes to Mundo are something I like since I really do enjoy playing Mundo because of how unique he is, hopefully this will get me into playing him more often.

New Jungle gives about 75% of the farm from perfect last hitting in lane. Farm from solo lane and jungle is relatively close, if not tipped in the scales of the jungle for the vast majority of the playerbase.
Also, Jax has always been a terror if farmed.
