Except in lane kennen high skill cap and is the most fun.

Question: Probably going to head out to GameStop today and buy myself a bit of RP.. Not sure what amount though.
I'm mostly considering it for stuff on sale but also rune pages. I have 3 right now, so my question is whether or not having the full 10 pages is enough, or just having 4-5 is sufficient.
I'm currently ~1400elo, I have full sets for the following runes:
ArPen Marks
MPen Marks
AD Marks
I can get a full set of CritDmg Marks (Razer thingy)
Flat Armor Seals
MRegen/lvl Seals
MR/lvl Glyphs
AP/lvl Glyphs
Flat AP Glyphs
Flat AP Quints
Flat AD Quints
Flat ArPen Quints
Flat HP Quints
Flat MS Quints
I also already own most champs (maybe 15 that I don't own), so a lot of my future IP can go towards runes like HP/lvl seals and stuff.
So yeah, do you guys think 1 or 2 more pages will suffice, or if there's a use for having 10 pages? Thanks :D

I actually enjoy his laning phase a lot more than the relatively dull teamfights. Even though I have to say, I feel like between energy, passive and W-passive management, hitting Qs and using E correctly, there's a lot more to do than pressing R.

It depends on how specific you want your pages to be. I currently have 17 and I still could use 3 more.
But then again, I have 5 pages who are exclusively devoted to AP champions. I don't run a generic AD Page, I mostly jungle stuff like Maokai and Skarner so they need their page, my best top champion is CDRWick who needs his own page, 3 pages for different supports, Ryze, Akali... It adds up. It all depends how much of a perfectionist you are, I guess.

...I thought 10 pages was the max o_O. Apparently not, then.
It seems like I might go with 10.. Some champs just need their own setups I suppose.
$25 it is; the rest for skins.
(btw, what's your setup for jungle Maokai? sounds fun)
Also, I agree with the Kennen thing. Maybe it's just because I suck, but I've realized that I'm out of energy a lot and tend to get ganked because of that, so laning phase is pretty fun with landing important Qs and stuff. Later on teamfights are kinda messy... get in, ult, and then try to spam q and w as much as you can while maneuvering around to focus on the important targets. Maybe I just don't like teamfighting, lol.

They raised the max to 20 pages a while ago.
Check the Maokai thread. The last page has some jungle setups/paths. TOO has a great guide on solomid.net too

Runepages are awesome. Once you have some runes and a champion you are comfortable with that champion alone has more than 1 runepage for specific mu's and jungle. So definitely go for the bundle (7?)

are so many different runes really that necessary?
i'm buying champs instead of runes (got the basic AD and AP rune page). I always felt the impact of runes is so small compared to the mistakes i make. so im buying champs and learn them and when i'll get better im going to buy dem runes

it's called 7 Rune Page Bundle, so just the empty rune pages.

I find that the impact of runes is extremely noticeable. You can really feel the difference of going into lane against an early game lane bully like Renekton and Gangplank with someone like Riven with armor seals + quints rather than armor seals and ad quints. Rune pages give you a pretty significant boost in whatever they are built for in the first few minutes.
