Want to rage about your latest loss? Use the QQ thread. If you whine in GD, you'll get warned. ===== + Show Spoiler +If your [Stream] thread was moved to the general TL Stream subforum (aka SC stream land), find your thread and PM it to me and I'll move it back to LoL territory. I can argue with staff that moving a non-SC thread into a SC subforum is just asking for that thread to get buried.
- Neo, Dec. 15 2011, 6:33 KST I have admin approval. I'll be moving LoL streams back to the subforum. Stream name will be based on Summoner name. - Neo 7:07 KST |

don't play that many games in one sitting, first of all at least, not that many ranked games i know the temptation is there to just hit play again after a win (cause you want to get more elo!) or a loss (cause you want to win back that elo you just got robbed of!) but the fact of the matter is, after X games, you just get careless and sloppy. for me, X is about 4 or 5. after that point my patience shrinks so my last hitting is shit, i am more likely to be irritable to teammates, more likely to rush bad decisions (tanking tower hits to get harass off, unsafe dragons, fighting fights i can't win) etc etc etc.
you should make sure you're fresh and at the top of your game, every game.
other than that, what 5hit said. abuse OPs and last-hit better. also, when you have to support, learn alistar and pick alistar (or, situationally, leona). the other supports are arguably "better," but alistar definitely has the most offensive presence in lane. instead of picking soraka, watching your carry hit 40% of their last hits, and then bitching about it, take cow and let them know you're gonna be aggressive. force fights and let them play out. either (a) your carry gets fed and even a retard can win with a fed AD carry, or (b) their carry gets fed and you can surrender at 20, but no big deal because your AD was probably shit anyway
|
jarvan is also a great support you can carry botlane with, i dunno why people favor leona over him because he has arguably more presence in teamfights, his eqauto combo dominates lane after lvl2 and he is just as natural tanky as leona.

Agreed so hard. You can carry a bot lane with Alistar and all your AD has to do is right click obvious things. If they can't do that you're probably going to lose the game anyways.
Also you can initiate team fights and tank long enough for your retarded team to pause half a screen away and decide to finally engage, then peel off your carries hard enough that they don't have to know how to kite. Everyone wins.

Same with taric but not so much since most tarics are bad and just stun the first thing they see(lolsupport).

meh, you can play any amount of games in a day
you have to analyze your play either during or immediately after for best results, but you can also use replays later on

Using replays is like way too much effort and no one wants to watch one of their most shitty games, playing it was bad enough already. Thing is, most people are so busy blaming others they dont realize when they fuck up.

Anyone know when the season ends? Im wondering how much time I will have to try to get to 1200 lol.....This season has taught me to not play chars in ranked I don't know well 3 main chars 82-54 with those 3 and 12-35 with other champs im not good at. I need to get better with more then Karthus/Renekton/Cait cause im too passive in lobby and let people take those 3 rolls too much. My 1st ranked jungle shy went well though 5-3-18 but was more or less carried by a good garen.

Is this statement true?
She scales fine, she just doesn't do that well in lategame teamfights unless her taunt causes someone to get instagibbed, or everyone gets really low and is easily picked off. Meanwhile, as nearly any other AP carry, you're potentially causing their entire team to get blown up with your ult.

Seeing as the season just started and season1 lasted for like forever, it's safe to say that you have an eternity to get up to 1200.

A good Alistair is so good.
But a bad Alistair is so bad.

Haven't played soraka in a while but boots 2 wards sounds pretty good to me, you can do that with two points in the utility starting gold mastery Are you still maining support? How many GP/10 do you generally get on your supports, Utah? Really trying to pick up support at the moment because I feel a good support influences the game soooooo much, but I'm torn apart between spine saying anything after Philo is usually not worth it because you rarely get your 2nd GP/10 early enough (don't think he literally said, just how I interpret his posts) and any pro support player still getting 2-3 every game. lololol. I'm not utah dude, I'm bad (1500s). I hope people haven't been thinking I know what I'm talking about when I say shit, I'm really bad. I am not utahime haha. My bad, I guess I'm just super confusing something. On a stupid sleep schedule atm due to university and it starts getting to me. Sorry man. for future reference, Southlight = uta Yeah, thank you. I was pretty sure I was confusing him with some of the other guys I remembered from when GD still was thousands of pages long and I was still only lurking.

Just stopping by to tell everyone that I just managed to GP ult a bluepilling Nunu bot AND NOT A SINGLE CANNONBALL HIT HIM. Yes, for the full duration of the ult.
I didn't mean to say I don't like that's its random. It was a coop, who cares if I hit Nunu bot or not. But damn, it was hilarious. Stop the RNG discussion duh.

RNG > you, it's always, RNG > you, no matter who you is.

They should make it do uniform damage to everything in its AOE instead of the stupid cannons.

I'm perfectly fine with it because it hits when I need it to, which means securing kills somewhere else while I'm farming top.
Also a great excuse not to be in those early dragon teamfights, as my ult usually ends up killing one or two and I can farm continuously farm top.

We, the solo top players in order to form a better lategame, establish dragon stealing with ults and teleports, insure internal team calmness, provid for the common defense, promote the global gold gain, and secure blessings of the metagame to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish the "alwaysfarmnevernotfarm" constitution.
