This is really wierd, every time I play Taric I have one really good game where I am the awesome support every ranged ad wants (warding and everyhthing), and then if I try to play him again in the next 40ish hours, I completely fail.
Its the same thing with Jungle Maokai too, great one game then flop.
Could this just been cockiness carrying over from previous games?

You'll cover the cost of 2 wards from just your gp10 in those two minutes. I often don't get boots till after my first two gp10 on Janna, but usually do on slower supports.

I occasionally get two gp10 before boots, but I almost always get two (unless I'm doing really poorly around that 18:00 mark). If I'm doing exceptionally AND my champion can make use of the AP well (soraka, sona mainly), I often opt for a Kage's Lucky Pick as well. I find that gp10 helps me maintain an actual cashflow for wards; maybe I'm just bad at money management. But the returns on that gold invested into a support, is much less than if it were to go to a carry.
if u dont go back because your support can heal you to full, this kill hasnt earned you any extra money. if the support heals you up then goes back while u take farm then he can invest in gp10 which will have half payed for itself before u even back, plus its not like gp10 items have no stats.
sure prob still better for the ad to get the kill but support getting kills allows him to do his job better too, support you.

I'm not too sure about that BT on Blitz... but then again, when I play champs like him or Mao I often end up with 5 items and wards, so FH/BV/boots/Shurelya's/Triforce cover it quite well. I can't remember what I build on Blitz instead of Shurelya's tho... probably some stuff with cdr, 100% uptime on W is so good.

Source might be a troll but the assessment is rather accurate. Ahri has a fun kit, which is why you see her so often this patch but her scaling (AP ratios, skill level scaling) is pretty horrendous compared to other AP mids.

Her Q is 0.33 per hit. So 0.66 total assuming you hit both. But the second hit is true damage, which means it's essentially double damage as soon as targets hit 100+ mr.
Her W is 0.38 per hit. Up to 0.76 on one target. Definitely on the weak side, but it has the added benefit of applying full item effects for each hit (ie Rylai slow/spellvamp). It's good in lane and for kiting mostly.
Her E is 0.35. Shit scaling, but it's basically a weaker version of blitz grab imo.
Her R is 0.3 per hit but can hit 3 times so 0.9. It's respectable.
Her AP ratios are on the low side, but I think it's okay seeing how mobile she is and how abusive she can be in certain lane matchups with her W.

She's only mobile with her ult up.
Her AP scaling isn't bad but THAT does not = scales well. Look at leblanc. She has great AP scaling but she scales terribly into lategame because of the difference between being able to kite 1 person or kill them 1v1 vs a real 5v5 teamfight.
