To the guy asking about a competitive game to play. Pokemon online.I'm serious. Go to smogon university and you'll find everything there. There is quite a big community behind it and you can totally go OCD on it if you want or just play for fun. But I guess it's a bad idea if you were never into pokemon

My grandparents tried to teach me bridge once and I just think they were awful at it cause I don't remember anything about it -_-. According to my girlfriends grandparents they got stranded in Europe when they were young and played bridge to get enough $ to get home to the states, that's pretty nerd baller too me.
Why is stonewall's videos getting so much attention from everyone, I like his jungle route guide video things, but what the hell is his rambling video getting so much attention for?

Holy shit yes. Pokemon is actually so best. Hate gen 5 though -_-
4-5 of my friends just joined LoL... with little/no DotA or hell even PC gaming experience. What champion requires the least map awareness, feeds the least, and still can lend a little utility (optional, mostly not dying) o.o

Ashe is such a good starting champion, I learned the game with her, and then I went to annie since i figured out the whole hero passive thing and people said annie was good for noobs on these forums.

AFAIK it's the most easily accessible "pro" opinion regarding the upcoming jungle changes. Personally his lack of organization, awkward tone/mannerisms, poor grammar and horrible mispronunciations (versitaal wtf?) make it almost impossible for me to watch any of his videos where he speaks.

Probably a jungler that just stays in the jungle and farms. Since they are level 1 summoners, that realistically isn't an option however, since jungling without runes/masteries is a waste of time. Laning is more difficult to learn, but they are going to need to learn it sometime.
For laning; they should go bottom as an AD carry. Caitlyn is the easiest, but Tristana and Ashe are both super cheap and pretty easy to use as well incase they don't have the IP.
Other then that, Sion is a really easy to play AP, and Gangplank is pretty damn easy to use for a bruiser.

Make him buy Singed so he can run around like a retard and you don't have to worry.

The interesting thing I got out of what he said was that it seemed as though it was VERY easy to fall behind the jungle creeps and get screwed over. Like to the point that you couldnt gank because you would instantly fall behind the creeps and not be able to farm them anymore.

A big variable that's easy to forget about for starting players is champion price; grinding out IP with very limited champ selection is painful! If they want to try ranged, ashe is good and very cheap, but tristana's jump is very forgiving when you don't have flash. Ryze is solid as a mage - forgiving, easy, very potent. If they want to try their hand at jungling, nunu is another 450 that I imagine could jungle at high health with the new masteries, even without runes. All of these champions have an easy out, essential when new players overextend out of inexperience, but don't have access to flash.
If they want to duo with you, and find support fun, soraka is a good choice. All these heroes (save trist) are 450, so if they don't like the champ's role, they can easily buy another to explore.

If someone more experienced gave an in-depth appraisal of the new jungle, I'd probably pay attention to that too. Riot's obviously going to hype the shit out of it, so Guinsoo's/Morello's appraisal of what's good and what's bad about the new jungle is obviously biased, and not worth much. As it stands, Stonewall's is the only "neutral" informed opinion on the new jungle.

As for a new champ, uh, Teemo is pretty cool. Shoot people all day, free wards, and if everyone is chasing you, press W, run in bush and stealth. Since most people don't know how to deal with stealth you get away with it for ages kekekekeke. Alternatively, play some really tanky person (Udyr? Rammus?) build only tank items and just never die because people don't know how to focus right our build penetration lol.

It might be a non-riot opinion, but everything he's saying sounds absurd. Everything just sounds like sensationalist opinion without any real facts backing it up. Obviously he's played it, but he doesn't provide numbers or any useful information. He just states opinions that will get a rise out of people. I guess that makes sense for a youtube video though. Goodjob!
If this change goes live and I die in the jungle after I gank I'll eat my words here, but I can't imagine that being possible. Riot has done some pretty stupid things in the past, but I can't see them making jungling too hard if their goal is to allow low levels to do it.

I am going through the exact same thing. It makes me realize how hard the first few games actually are. Once I randomly joined an easy bot game and a veigar died every time he went in lane so he literally just explored the map... was pretty funny to watch.
What I've found is that it barely matters which hero they pick. At low level there is no meta at all aside from mid being solo and no jungle. My friend is claiming success with laning teemo skarner together, for instance. I guess if I had to pick noob champions you can't really go wrong with cait, sion, warwick, teemo, taric, ashe. If they run into a smurf they're toast no matter what combo they use, and if matchmaking does it's job they will be against another random lane equally clueless.
