Also - is it just me or are elementz and xpecial kind of lacking compared to other teams' supports?

Xpecial's Alistar is probably the best Alistar around imo. But with any other support he's never looked as good. I think TSM's problem is that they don't have someone who's good at calling plays. Or that gets listened to when calling plays. They tend to operate by consensus which makes every decision around 10 seconds late. That's my impression from watching them stream their scrimming, at least - they get in a good position by beating people in lane (which they almost always do, at least for bot and mid) and then waffle around long enough that it doesn't matter. When they lose, anyways.

I'd definitely take Xpecial over any other NA support... L0cust maybe more consistent but I feel like Xpecial actually manages to make more 'plays' from the support spot(and as such he does make some/more mistakes, but I guess I'm just willing to take that for the upside, risk vs reward). Now if you want to bring EU supports into the discussion, then every NA support fucking sucks.

I really wish he'd learn to time stuff though. Oddone spoils him =/ EDIT: holy shit their tristana/alistar is good. I know it's a good combo but I haven't seen a bot lane dominate this hard in forever.

Chaox is definitely their #1 player right now, their bottom lane is ridiculously strong. Yeah, I think they have problems with leading a team together. Epik scrims tend to sound and feel a ton more coordinated and calm while TSM is either really happy they are winning or all pissed off about a call.
