My idea is that every three regular spell casts should grant an additional Mantra charge. So if you W someone, Mantra-E them then Q the enemy, you'll have two casts towards granting a mantra charge. It sucks as Karma not being able to do anything to get a mantra charge in an emergency. I was going to write out a paragraph or two about it but where should I put it.

Q's and W can clear waves as fast or faster than Cho, and his only real damage ability for trades is Feast. Wukong would be close, but yeah I think on equal ground Wukong might come ahead because of E-W dash/retreat pokes. That said, any bruiser with a ranged, high damage poke should do well against Riven in some regards.

He can keep clearing waves with his Q and W (as long as he has a little bit of mana regen) because every kill gives him health and mana. I really don't think that Riven can keep up with that. I haven't tried for a while, but even a defensive-specced Irelia who maxes W first can have problems against Cho if she's not careful. As for Wukong, he simply eats anyone who does not have a built-in healing ability and fails to grab some early armor. He's particularly brutal against the shorter ranged AP characters.

At very early levels, she outdamages you, and once she gets Wriggle's, you pretty much inevitably going to farm-trading mode (like lots of Cho matchups do). The problem is that if Riven goes into farm-trading mode, it's just like Jax or Nasus going into farm-trading mode. They have the late-game development of a melee carry, so you HAVE to stop their farm--if a melee carry and a tank or assassin are both free-farming, the melee carry is way more dangerous with that farm.

Cho is.. meh.. you will not kill him, but neither will he. And you have a lot of aoe to clear creeps too. So i dunno..

Any suggestions as to how to tweak my build to make him a bit beefier? Right now it goes gloves > boots > avarice > zerks > zeal > IE > Bloodthirster > TriForce > PD and Ghostblade if I have time (usually doesn't get to that point).
