Maybe 50/50, but you look at it this way: his burst is all AP (Jump, Empower, stun), his sustain is all AD. If the enemy is squishy and dies fast, it's mostly going to be AP. Opposite for tankier targets, so just judge based on the enemies. Jaxes looks better, you don't say "foxi" Collossi The singular of Colossi is Colossus, not Collossx. Hence why it pluralizes that way. It would make more sense to pluralize "Jaximus" to "Jaximi".
And we're not even going to consider 'colloxen,' huh?
Also on that note would multiples of Karthus be 'Karthi?'

Not sure if there was a Graves discussion. Coworker broke his foot and I got his shifts and I've been MIA the past 50 pages. I've been playing him alot in normal games, just screwing around and also serious games and I find that he his a strong AD ranged bruiser, which makes him so strong bot lane vs normal AD carries (I like HP runes) but he does fine in solo lanes as well. (Especially vs AP carrys early on)
Is someone working on a graves build/thread? I'd like to get some professional input for him. Phreak's video was not very informative.

You build Graves like you would any other standard ranged AD.
Boots or Blade Blade BF IE or BT AS, LW if you need armor pen.
His kits is just pretty redonkulous atm. Drop smoke screen on enemy AD and Q people at melee range.
Dat Grit.

Actually if you look at his passive in the champion listings it's now called "Gunslinger" instead of "true grit" Which saddens me on several levels. But yeah his kit is insanely amusing.

he's pretty good not unbeatable. There just aren't really many ban worthy champions atm so graves is an okay ban to make. Ive been banning graves/sion or graves/shaco or graves/akali
hes absurdly strong vs ads with no respositioning skills...shuts down kog/ashe/etc completely to the pointt that they are unviable if graves is on the other team

Jax in competitive games? I remember him being a must-ban/pick during the Wukong/Skarner patches back in August at IEM gamescom and MLG Raleigh. Ever after Talon-patch (the 2nd Leap Strike and the Empower nerf) nobody seems to bother picking anymore it seems.
At recent events Hotshot played Jax against World Elite in IEM Guangzhou (+ jiji on Zilean) which netted them a win on the first map. Afterwards Jax was banned twice.
In IPL and IEM New York he basically seems to have been replaced by Talon, Udyr, Yorick...
Only other known player that used to play Jax a lot and who wasn't mentioned here would be Pobelter. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think he actually played him once or twice in New York without much success.

zzz I though Dignitas was okay about the fact they got destroyed bye CDE and it was pretty over but they were just a bit concerned about the rules not being clear. I'm starting to lose faith in Dignitas (still a fan yea).

afaik they only played one game for the final set of WCG qualifiers Canada, are they going to make that apply retroactively too?

To 5hit and whatever Parks I just wanted to play Dominion with, the server is set to "Busy". Real gay l0l. Sorry.

This is Riot's message about the situation, according to Saint in IRC:
Although the rules could have been better formatted and communicated to the players, they were nonetheless consistently enforced throughout the tournament. We believe we have settled on the best solution possible. The essence of a double-elimination tournament is that all the teams get equal opportunities not only for success, but for one failure as well. Since all MATCHES are based on a best-of-3 “maps” scenario, the team coming from upper-bracket has not actually lost a MATCH. To eliminate them from the tournament based on only the loss of one match in a double elimination bracket would go against the logic of a double elimination tournament.
Here's what I don't understand. Every single double elimination LoL tournament that I've watched in the past few months - and there have been tons - has used the weighted format for the finals. I haven't seen a single one of them do what is described here. If this is Riot's stance, then this is the opposite of all the tournaments they have run recently, and pretty much invalidates every single result.
Just to give a single example - the Dreamhack Season 1 final. aAa came from losers bracket against fnatic. fnatic was given the weighted advantage in the bo3, starting it 1-0 fnatic. aAa won game 1; fnatic won game 2, giving them the win. Had aAa won game 2, they would have won the tournament. There wouldn't have been another bo3.
I have no idea what's going on at the Riot e-sports department, but they should probably take a look at every single LoL double elimination tournament they've run in the past before making rulings like this.

wtf CDE better not have to play another Bo3. I mean they already won a weighted Bo3 where they started off down 1 game. The hell what more do these guys have to do?
