At this point, wait until the new patch and the Elo reset. You'll get a chance to climb the rankings...or you might get paired up with idiots and stay where you are (not carrying hard enough).

I think that's what Saint uses. I run 21-0-9 and I'd probably use those runes if I had them but I don't so I have a mix of arpen and aspd on my reds/quints.

TOO does his usual weird 1-8-21 mapcontrol stuff, but Stonewall (and Saint?) runs a mix of AD+APen on Reds, Armour Yellows, MRes Scaling Blues, AD Quints. It's quite nice since you can also use it for a generic AD Carry page if you're short on runepages. 21-0-9. Terror patch coming soon...

I've been advised to take triforce but I feel like it's too expensive for the good it does Trundle, and that I'm not tanky enough for the same price I get a frozen mallet providing hp and a permaslow, and some parts of bruta or HoG/negatron if I really need more tankiness).

I find his stream very hard to watch, I enjoy the players who actually cooperate with the team and not base every decision on how much this will benefit them self. I'd compare his playstyle to hotshot's where you just kind of forget he's on your team until eventually he gets over split pushing and decides to teamfight. Not saying that split pushing isn't viable but there are times when you should just group and force things to happen.

Seems like many of the US solo top players have that playstyle/mentality (Dyrus, HSGG, Rainman).

Yeah I was watching these games, but I was watching them on Dan Dinh's stream instead. The quality of the video wasn't as good, but Dan Dinh is way more manner and not as, for lack of a better term, douchey as TRM. Rain man just gets way unnecessarily excited and acts like such a brolaf that he's hard to watch.
