Except you can get rid of bad players who aren't up to your standards. It's not like you pick four people to play with and you're stuck with them. If you don't like who got picked up find somebody else.

I still think a 2100 player could carry everybody to 1700 as long as they all listen and the people are reasonably close to that level.

So you've got 2-3 weekends to lose a bunch of games with a hodgepodge of good/mediocre/bad players, find 5 people that work well together and hopefully have schedules that allow them to all play together, and THEN grind out 300+ arranged 5s Elo?

Again, how is this less effort than solo/duo queueing unless you're expecting to get carried? It's a reasonable plan for trying to organize a competitive team for season 2, but with the given timeframe, it's hardly realistic for a "mad dash to gold".

I need help desperately. My ignore function doesn't work anymore, and it's killing me. When I ignore someone in game, they will stay ignored for the rest of the game, but after the game or in following games they aren't ignored. As you can imagine, this problem is pretty serious, so anyone got a fix for this?

I'm really positive I can get silver npnp. Currently I fluctuate between 1450s-1550s, peak of 1570-something. /mute is supposed to do it for the game, while /ignore adds them to block list
You sure you're doing /ignore instead of /mute?

honestly best bet for ranked 5s grind is to get 3 good players and have 2 other good players play on < 1200 accounts

play only against 1200s, get like 7 elo per game in 20 minute games. it seems like a grind but it's a lot more efficient than winning 60% of games for 10 elo each when each game is 40 minutes

also doing cheese comps that can win in 20 minutes like 4 support + a pusher is also really good in ranked 5s cause no one expects it

If you're a 1500 or 1600 player you probably aren't good enough to reach gold, but with a cheesy strategy you could likely reach it in arranged team (or like I said a friendly 2100 player telling you what to do). I'm not suggesting some 1200 player magically get carried to gold rating.

Think cheesing your way into masters in starcraft.

It's not HoN at all and the graphics are in fact much better(and higher system requirements) and instead of a summoner spell it's more like the fifth skillshot.

Lee Sin feels really really strong if you can play him properly, he has so insane combo ability and such
