I had a lot of fun trolling with Triforce Alistar, but it's really annoying with his base AS being so fucking low .

EDIT: though he still BDs like a bawss with Triforce + Ghostblade + his ult, LOL.

Eve gonna be nerfed all the way into the shit tier. Glad about rammus nerf, but I'm surprised to nerf no deathcap.

Eve: you don't know that
Rammus: justified, his map presence is just too good to allow him to be so strong at ganking. He can be everywhere on the map really easily, added to the fact that he's such a clutch piece of a party (fights will always revolve around rammus) it just becomes too hard to deal with.
Deathcap is too efficient. it's by far the most efficient AP item in the game and late game items aren't supposed to do that unless they come late in your build.

have you ever played rammus? when you are just ordering him around he says "okay" in this really silly/badass way. and i think theres a giant thread on LoL where they were talking about rammus and it devolved into everyone just typing "ok" and anyone who typed anythign else got downvoted 50times.

So Heimer gets:

1) Insta-turret field, allowing him to deal almost two champions-worth of damage in any teamfight.
2) Upgraded turret AI, making him much harder to lane against or gank.
3) An upgraded ult which gives him more missiles, increasing his teamfight power, and an upgraded grenade, making it harder to dodge, making it harder to gank/chase him.

Uh...guys? Do you remember The Age of the Heimerdinger Permaban? Did you *like* it for some reason??

I like the crit change. Hopefully, it doesn't make it so that people still get those super lucky crits in the laning.

To be fair, I'm not sure how you can really complain about 2, especially since the turret bug where they just don't shoot has to be one of the most rage-inducing things ever--especially when 2 bugged turrets in a row just screws over your mana management.

It should make those lucky crits far more likely every x amount of time (where x is the time it takes to make a certain number of auto swings depending on the crit value). WC3 uses a Pseudo Random Distribution system to normalize crit values. I'm assuming Riot is doing the same thing. It's a common idea/practice so I could be assuming wrong here, but this is the most logical way to do such things to my knowledge so I will assume until proven wrong.

It's called a Pseudo Random Distribution if you want to google how it works cause I'd just be copy pasting something about it ^_^ In theory it balances the game because it makes lucky or unlucky sprees less likely, but in game play it depreciates the value of crit. As you get closer to 100%, with a Pseudo Random Distribution your actual crit chance is much less than what it should be due to the mechanics of a Pseudo Random Distribution. This drop off starts around 25% to my knowledge where you lose .1% critical chance it increases as you get closer to 100%. For example, at 50% crit chance, in a Pseudo Random Distribution you'd only have a 45.7% chance if you averaged the results of a Pseudo Random Distribution ^_^ Only characters that really enjoy stacking crit should really be effected by this though...Hi Tryndemere.

So basically the new system makes it so if you have 10% crit chance your gonna get 1 crit every ten hits guaranteed, instead of the possibility of having 3 straight crits or no crits at all?

If they're using a Pseudo Random Distribution not exactly. I can't confirm or deny either way, but if you watch the patch video on youtube they hint at decreasing lucky/unlucky streaks and this is the best way as far as I know to do it. If you bothered googling it like I suggested it basically works something like this:

I have a 100 sided cube that has 50 black squares and 50 red squares. I toss it in the air and randomly get black. Since I got black I paint 10 of the squares red and flip it again. I get black again so I paint another 10 squares red. I flip it again and get red so I paint 10 of the squares black. Basically this prevents any streaks from happening because if a streak begins it'll become impossible for it to continue and before that it'll be almost impossible anyways. The numbers are set up in such a way that it averages out to 50% in the end. The ones I made up on the spot obviously don't work properly ^_^

The interesting part is that if you have 55% you'll never have a situation where you won't have a crit in three attacks. The trade-off of this is that since it basically forces you to crit every other attack, your average crit chance drops to 49.7% even though you should have 55%. It skews farther and farther the higher your crit chance goes because if you have an 80% chance to crit and you get a spree going it'll force you to get a non-crit to average out, even though a spree of 6-8 crits with that chance wouldn't be uncommon mathmatically. It's used in wc3 and makes sense because almost all abilities have a lowish proc chance. You don't see these horrible returns until 25% where it's one tenth of one percent (which is effectively almost meaningless), and most abilities like bash or crit for example proc at a 15% chance.

That doesn't seem quite right, particularly in the 80% example--having an 80% chance to crit is exactly symmetric to the case where you have an 80% chance to not-crit (e.g. 20% crit chance)--meaning if the expected/actual deviation in crit chance is small at 20% crit chance, there's absolutely no reason for it to be large at 80% crit chance.

I meant to say "surprised no nerf to deathcap", was a typo.

And they were saving eve's ability to jungle will severally cut down, and that's pretty much the only role she can take in a decent game, so seems to me like she will become useless.

I have this feeling that Eve will still be able to jungle one way or another. In particular I think I will still be able to perform my level 1/2 red buff gank.
