Damn, this thread moves just as fast as the old one....
anyways, in regards to that whole urgot lockon and minions, i've seen people try this on me, and it doesnt work. In fact, unless the hitbox of the hero is super small (kennen or poppy) its really hard NOT to hit them as i've discovered occasionally. With mouseover, champs take priority over creeps, and distinguishing between 2 champs (unless one is fucking chogath with 6 stacks) is fairly easy as well.
The only weird thing is tho, that its mildly difficult to get an exact sense of how far urgot can lock on. There have been times where i could swear on my life that a q should be well within range and it doesnt lock on, and again times where its just a potshot and i dont actually think it will lock, but goes ahead and hits them from 3 extra miles longer than i expected.
looking from the enemies perspective tho, given his massive range and slow, you aren't exactly going to get away, so you might as well hope for a glitch
|
couldn't you just '~' it to make it super easy?
|
o.O
what is this, please explain
|
oh, when you hold '~' down, you can only highlight champions.
|
oh, thats kinda cool, but like i said, it already prioritizes champs over minions, and my mouse accuracy isnt that bad
but still, ill check it out. guess this means there is no hope, even standing next to minions muahahaha

ha! now Brees doesn't get to make me feel like an idiot! go me!

I mean, the real reasons I feel better about Pantheon's balance in laning than those assholes are: - he can't 1 shot creepwaves - his shield is only against things that trigger on-hit effects - he has to build damage items to keep up in damage as the later stages of laning kick in (his abilities scale well with the stats he gets from items, their base scaling off of ranks in the skill suck)
on top of that, his poke is 600 range as opposed to Malphite's 700 range (BIG difference) and he doesn't get his shield back for free, he has to be active in order to get his shield.
he also has actual hard counters (like Malphite and Sion!), whereas the best any can actually do vs. Malphite/Sion is not die and keep up in CS.
but I do agree with you about the latest iteration of Pantheon, HSS's increase to his faceroll burst has made his laning too easy. Well, Urgot can't 1-shot creepwaves, his shield barely scales at all, and even if he builds damage items he stops doing damage around the time enemies get one armor item. He's like Old-Pantheon, only with all skillshots and no accessible stun and no global tele. And a better early shield that quickly becomes worse. Also, is it really a "hard counter" if they're hard counters to solo lanes in general?
I didn't know about ~ either. I feel I have to correct something here...his shield scales VERY well with a 0.8 AP ratio. It's just that he's not an AP champ. :D

So I can't seem to find the posts in the old thread where you guys discussed how many creeps should a carry have farmed by the 0th, 15th and 20th minute mark... Does anyone remember it?

they're both bads for not getting ghostblade though. For jungling at least I go wriggles, last whisper, banshee's, then ghostblade (kinda late). You have a ton of damage natively, you only need one major multiplier (last whisper) before you move on to a tank item imo. EDIT: If I were laning, yeah, ghostblade. I run full aspd runes on my jungle yi so I usually go razors boots lantern merc/zerk IE then LW or GB depending on what they have. Starks or a thirster usually follows if I don't need GA/Banshees.

0: 0 (50 if Sivir) 15: ~150 (300+ if Sivir) 20: ~200 (600+ if Sivir)

Smash caved and picked WW instead of teemo
Respect for him all gone.

Superior understanding of this game benefits your team so much more on junglers than it does on a soft carry like teemo especially when you get warwick because it gets you dragons, barons, ganks, buffs, map control and towers. Not just for you, either, for your whole team.
Warwick #1.

Respect for him all gone. i would've had to lane vs. panth which is auto-loss. I forgot about mundo though QQ.

Anyone want to let me know how they jungle Malphite? Been wanting to try it out.
|
Teemo can take on panth Mid if you run defense tree and some health runes. Just make sure to trade as many hits as possible if he jumps on you.

no, the point is teemo is mad fun. and it's not fun getting stomped in the nuts by pantheon
|
I miss playing solo queue for fun. Now it's like "Omg Nidalee such a bad champ after laning phase." Though I've been busting out my Ap Ezreal every once in a while.
|
I cannot wait for these Gragas nerfs. I can't believe how much damage he deals and how hard he is to kill.
|
lol, my friend and I ran a garen panth lane. Was 5-0-1 panth by the 5 min mark lolol He got leviathan + soto + 2 zeals on garen just to be an asshole. facerolled their team trollolol
