Fun if you're not absolutely terrible and don't fucking understand how to use him. I think this week was the first time I have tried Kennen ever and I failed miserably. On the plus side, I think now I'll be able to solomid against him a little more easily because I can finally understand why some of his shurikens hit me over minions and other don't. Had a malph stack 4 dorans rings in mid just to try to screw up my farm....he simply built to screw with me. You couldn't touch him....too much HP, and hit like a truck whenever you came in to last hit. 3 dorans blades weren't enough. Luckily the rest of his team sucked and I just could gank them so got fed and carried anyway. Fricken hate laning vs malphs. | ||

Spear + Spear +... [target at 50% hp or whatever] stun + HSS + spear = dead champ. Yeah, Pantheon is squishier than someone like Malphite, but is it really that different when you factor in Pantheon's huge early game damage output? | ||

Going to step out on a limb and say yes, at least for me he is. Sion and Malphite are both relatively safe from harassment because of their shields whereas pantheon is at least susceptible to damage | ||

I mean, the real reasons I feel better about Pantheon's balance in laning than those assholes are: - he can't 1 shot creepwaves - his shield is only against things that trigger on-hit effects - he has to build damage items to keep up in damage as the later stages of laning kick in (his abilities scale well with the stats he gets from items, their base scaling off of ranks in the skill suck) on top of that, his poke is 600 range as opposed to Malphite's 700 range (BIG difference) and he doesn't get his shield back for free, he has to be active in order to get his shield. he also has actual hard counters (like Malphite and Sion!), whereas the best any can actually do vs. Malphite/Sion is not die and keep up in CS. but I do agree with you about the latest iteration of Pantheon, HSS's increase to his faceroll burst has made his laning too easy. | ||

Fair enough. With regards to Pantheon, I think it would be really cool if they made his spear a skillshot (I forget who made the suggestion). I wouldn't mind the high damage output if it required a little more skill to land. | ||

Well, Urgot can't 1-shot creepwaves, his shield barely scales at all, and even if he builds damage items he stops doing damage around the time enemies get one armor item. He's like Old-Pantheon, only with all skillshots and no accessible stun and no global tele. And a better early shield that quickly becomes worse. Also, is it really a "hard counter" if they're hard counters to solo lanes in general? | ||

Well, call it what you will. Pantheon gets FUCKED UP by those guys and no one really fucks them up. They counter Pantheon in that he can't even hit creeps against them because they just kill him. The closest things to Sion/Malphite counters are Sivir/Morg where they just dodge the harass and then farm right back. | ||
