Her laning is less bursty and people go o_O at taking Zerker over Treads but I like it *shrugs* but I hesitate to recommend it to people because our motives for playing Irelia tend to be different. I very directly picked up Irelia for the purpose of finding a carry TANK that doesn't lose to a subsect of heroes like Amumu (who loses to like every caster...) lol.
Edit: By the way I go Belt -> Atma or Atma -> Warmog, I never complete Mog before Atma, it's too slow.
Edit2: Bear in mind I run the full armor page + 0/21/9 too :p It's a different playstyle and goal.
I approve this post. Southlight's Tankrelia build has proven itself time and time again.

Back when you could abuse the double-E bug, he could clear the jungle really fast.
Coobie's LS runs Atmogs because it keeps him relevant late-game because LS starts to fall off in power mid-game-ish while taking advantage of his good early game. If you win your lane convincingly enough, going for Atmamogs is fine because even if you're only 70% effective, that's still more useful in team fights than the 40% effective Vlad you just beat up.
Also, how does Strelo's Triforce build work? I've always thought it was standard to go Wriggles into IE/Yomuus?
Strelo was BD all day with Sheen procs. Kinda like AP TF but much more MS.
I thought the concept behind Triforce Yi was that either you'll kill with 3-4 Triforce procs, and your CDs will reset, allowing you to score more procs, or if you can't kill inside those 3-4 procs, you probably wouldn't be that much more relevant with another build anyway?
I thought it was the solution to "I need an item that makes me move faster, makes them move slower, makes me hit more, makes me crit, makes me do some random burst with Q, and gives me HP"

When two duo queue tryhards make a new acc, and want to get to high elo on ranked really quick on a smurf and you beat them, and they start cussing at you because you just f'ed up their time and hard work.
Hey everyone Lee Sin jungles pretty fast and never has to go back EVER so you can hit level 6 in 6 minutes. Also atmogs doesn't work well on him. I'm trying BT/GA rush. Don't like Tiamat. Stacking BF Swords is ok. Cloak and Dagger - meh. Hexdrinker - surprisingly good, esp. if you're worried about burst. SotO is good if you get GA. Bilgewater Cutlass is interesting but hardly the best. Phage is good. Brutalizer is great.

from the lee sin thread also it is slightly over 6 minutes, I was exaggerating un poquito. I'm going to switch to attackspeed blues and that should speed me up a lot. I might even swap out the armor yellow for more aspd.
This replay is slightly out of date, and I had a run that went even faster. Also, double tempest bug seems to be back.
On June 04 2011 00:37 Tooplark wrote: Ok, here's my pro Lee Sin route. Start with Doran's Blade and W at twin golems. W hit hit W hit hit smite hit to kill the first one, then just beat down the other. Level E and go to wraiths. Now that double E bug is gone, it's a little harder, but you still finish them with about 2-300 hp left. Kill wolves. Smite is up just in time to kill golem. Do so. Go to twin golems. Kill them. Go to wraiths. Kill them. Go to wolves. Kill them. Go to lizard. Smite is up, so kill it. Wait around a bit at twin golems. Kill them. Go to wraiths. Kill them. Go to wolves. Kill them. Congrats, you're level 6 in 6 minutes without ever going b or going below 300 health. You can take lizard and gank ANY time as long as you level Q. I even have a replay.

The final time was 6:40; if I didn't go back to buy I would have hit 6 about 20-30 seconds earlier. The lowest you get is ~200 hp at blue. You can take red at any time after wolves and possibly earlier. Just remember that if you do twingols wraiths wolves red, you'll need to skill WEQ instead of WEWQ.
Replay: [url blocked]
Masteries: http://tinyurl.com/3nc47bz Runes: Attackspeed red, Armor yellow, Cdr/lvl blue, Armor quint. I'm sure the runes can be tweaked to be much better but I happened to have this page available so that's what I used.

Obviously the solution is 1-2 tiamat -> warmog/atma.

This can make you go 9 0 21 instead of 0 9 21 and you eventually turn it into the tenacity item.
Just a heads up, but the Design Team is looking into Philo atm. They don't like it very much. So if you do run a full AP rune page, do be aware it may become obsolete in the future once Philo gets nerfed.
Of course, AP runes are still useful for some champions don't get me wrong. But do think twice about spending that IP in case you have buyer's remorse.

I always do this although sometimes i also get catalyst, I also use ap/lvl blues and yellows

Jiji has been running a full AP page (well, MPen marks, AP/lvl seals/glyphs, 1 MPen + 2 AP flat AP quints) for a long time now as his default AP carry page, even without getting philo stones. I hardly think a philo nerf would make that page obsolete if it fits your playstyle. Mp5/lvl runes just aren't that good anymore, particularly on casters who have good base regen, and often get Catalyst or DRings.

Hm. I agree that AP runes can work, especially since sometimes you surprise people who are expecting the standard Armour/Mres Yellows and Blues. Just pointing out that if he's getting AP Runes only to capitalise on Philo Stones then they may not be as worthwhile, especially since he mentioned a full AP Page. I don't think AP Red or Yellows are worth getting, but each to their own.

Expect nerf in another 1-2 patches. Typical Riot.
The main concern the team has with Philo is that it encourages passive gameplay in the laning phase and reduces the effectiveness of harass. Of course, this applies to heals in general as well.
