I personally feel like too much information is given out for free and it's too easy to adapt to new information. "Ok, Amumu just got a chainmail, time to b and grab LW." That's not quite how it works, but it's close enough. You see almost immediately what happened, and it takes about 20 seconds to b, buy, and regroup. Any surprise factor is removed. | ||

Jungling with cloth armor + 5 pots is really easy. I would take magic pen reds with those starting items, like most people I think. I'm trying to open with regrowth pendant + pot, maybe for games where my solos dominate with blue and also because philo stone is so good. But I still want to cut some corners in defense tree by going 1/16/13 to get the buff duration and flash mastery. I think I can do the standard route with these masteries if I get armor reds and a leash. Of course, I could try other routes too though. Let me know if you have experience with this opening. | ||

IMO you should still start with Cloth simply because of the much better flexibility. You can build Philo later, but Cloth builds into enough things that the added flexibility of starting Cloth + 5pot over Regrowth + 1pot is worth it. | ||

Ew ew ew ew no. I'm ok with different buffs in SR, but 1) random buffs? yuck and 2) i don't like dota buffs. Double damage is ridiculous, invisibility we need LESS of, illusion isn't supported by LoL mechanics, regeneration is just another way for someone to get back to full health in 10 seconds, and haste is acceptable. its funny gutiar, cus many of the changes you want is the reason why i play LoL and not HoN. It sounds like you wanna turn LoL to a exact copy of HoN lol, weird. Many of these changes would make me go "fuck no!" and quit the game. | ||
