you're gonna hate hearing this, but Taric is a giant linchpin in how it all fits together. in theory it's really hard to compete with having an efficient heal alongside a point and click stun in those lanes. I dunno though, we'd have to see if something like Leona + Cass could compete with Taric + Brand. I think you could make it work, but you probably have to pick REALLY smart to beat it.

personally i thought leona + taric was one of the funniest lanes i ever played
well, aside from nasus mordekaiser

Anyone on the US side wanna be my friend and play a couple of games purely for shits and giggles? Leveling my account and it's a bit stale alone. I'm level 16 and I'm doing my best to adjust to the latency, so no proper runes and shizzle till level 20. I own almost all skins in game so I can be your cool friend showing off while you do all the work.

I played that lane last night too. It was hilarious. At level 6, Soraka was trying so hard to keep Ashe alive, but she was seriously just stunned for like 6 seconds, which is like, a lot of time to just sit there and kill her, lol. I think Leona is better alongside higher damage output laners though. I honestly think Leona + Cass sounds boderline abusive and Leona + Teemo with xpy last night was pretty hilar, though it mostly was just xpy fuckstarting their ranged carry level 1.

Leona alistar = never move forever, even pre-6. I find it kinda bs that you can just pulverize, leap, stun, headbutt, exhaust.

If metagame shifts, you'll jsut see people taking cleanse, and maybe people might stick to current, or switch to stunlocking and bursting everyone to death.
