I think it's my job as a person to disincentives assholes -- toxic players -- by calling them out. "Hey man, that's our teammate, don't treat them like that. If you're so good, help them or explain things in a way they can understand". Not just in a game either, but in life. If I see someone treating someone else poorly in real life, it's my job to call them out on it. In real life this almost never happens... Online? All the time. ALL the time. This solution is anything but. It rewards the people that feel entitled to remove stimuli they would rather not see from their lives by teaching them that yes, such an option should be provided. It does not punish those who treat others poorly in any way, shape, or form (if everyone is muted, team communication suffers). What a stupid, shortsighted idea. | ||

The other ideas though are actually good. The "just toxic ladder" and the "leaver queue" they talked about in blizzcon are great ideas, that they haven't implemented yet probably because there is few people on the game to spread the population further, but is something that will come eventually. And the automute thing is good too. If people report a player as toxic (thhrough the honor system or equivalent they are talking about in the interview), or the game chat register a lot of "supid noobs, uninstall" and then the player wll be muted, it could be a good thing. | ||

I like the auto-mute toxic flagged players suggestion they're talking about. Clearly if they are planning a leavers / toxic queue then they know who those folks are to auto-mute. I think mute-all is overkill for the reasons you and others point out. If they put it in, I can only hope that the feedback they get will make them reconsider (it is still beta after all). @Garsecg - I'm not going to get into your stance too much, other than to say I disagree and will just point to the steps LoL and Dota 2 have had to take to remove toxicity from their games. In an ideal world, I'm all with you, but we aren't there (yet?). | ||

The way people are telling those new players about their mistakes it is no wonder why people would rather mute than listen... | ||

Siphoning Arrow, Puncturing Arrow, Repeating arrow. This gives you massive life regen. Much better alternative to his suggestion of Vampiric Assault (lol). Then typically I will get Rain of Vengeance, Frost Shot, Blood for Blood, And then Bolt of the storm or Nexus Frenzy depending on how the game is going. Anyone got any reasoning for changing this or conforming with the 'pro builds'? A typical situation would be where I run into a single person in a bush, Hungering arrow them, vault away, Multishot, Hungering arrow, and if they are still pursuing, I can drop an ult or blood for blood, or blink if need be. Since I have 2x the ability to slow, with B4B and Frost shot, it also makes it great for chasing people down. And this is much more useful on maps where split fights are more common. Such as DS, ST, GoT, BHB or even HM. As far as team fights go, the additional bounces and instant cooldown of hungering via vault allows me to immediately burst out 2 Qs which spread around the damage on the team more than 2 multishots would as well. I also really like the Q better because it has more range and width than it actually looks like, since it has a minor homing capability. | ||

Diablo has been a pretty good counter to nazeebo's ult for some quite time already, his ult will hit nazeebo channeling no matter what. About Lost Vikings, i am guessing it was on NA ? It was: Valla/ETC/Uther/Nazeebo/Vikings vs Rehgar/Hammer/Tassadar/Diablo (cant remember last faggot). All i saw that game was how broken ETC/Naz/Valla are, not how strong Vikings really is. | ||

No talent gate past lvl 30 -more gold when you lvl up (I hope we lvl 40s also get it..) -More lvls for every hero (yay? I think it's kinda good in the sense that people won't feel they are wasting anything when they play a lvl 10 hero, but thinking about how long it takes to lvl 9 from 10 and then thinking about the time it will take to get to 20 makes me want to cry) -better stats at the end of the game -of course sylvanas and tomb, which we already knew about. -Mute all. Also I heard they will give a free stimpack? And their top tier heroes are pretty different from the tier list, which show that pro games =/= ladder. | ||
