mixed feelings about the deathwing: nice art, hate the recycle of character though. good thing the mechanic is new, could be fun. seems very vulnerable to boardclear though (getting all your dragons rekt by twisting nether or pyro equal must feel horrible). deathrattle so very unreliable (,but has decent 12/12 body even without the deathrattle) + opponent kind of controls when the effect comes. great thing is you dont overfill your board. as it would have with battlecry. also can be summoned from other 10 cost legendary (actually 2 of them, 1 summon, 1 rezz, rezz looks most promissing). by itself it looks like great value. with the addition of the other 10 cost legendaries though, the 10 spot became very crowded. a well buffed C'thun beats new dw every day. Im sure people will find a place for this in a dragon deck. definitely gonna experiment with it if i get lucky enough to open it | ||

Too bad he is eating a silence... every time. Your opponent has to be really stupid to not save one as soon as he spots a dragon. | ||

Rumor has it silence it getting nerfed though, we can only pray as silence is one of the least fun mechanics in the game imo. | ||

Keeper of the Grove is getting hit apparently and Owl will probably see a change. Doubt silence as a mechanic will as it is far too important as far as keeping the game fun is concerned | ||

I think it needs to be nerfed just slightly before it reaches the sweet spot, where you don't see it all the time, but it's still usable when needed. It does say something that everyone's reaction to a card with an ability is "L0L ho0T Ho0t silence br0", hopefully it won't be that simple | ||

Not hyped for deathwing though, never been a fan of dragon decks, and putting multiple threats on the board at once is just inviting board wipes and loosing 2-3 for 1. | ||

At least this version of Deathwing could be referred to as "Dragonlord" (I doubt people really want to say Deathwing, Dragonlord every time they refer to this card). Like, the cards are cool and all, but it just kinda bugs me. As for the actual card, Deathwing 2 is really slow, but relatively BGH-proof, assuming you have another dragon in hand. Could be okay, but definitely a card people are gonna wanna try. The first week(s) after this set comes out are gonna be nuts. | ||
