just the thought of getting it stolen by cabal, already have so many nightmares (my precious bran T_T). no way i will be running that card, stats VERY slightly above average (one might argue 5/6 or a 6/5 for 4 mana but the 1/1 will most of the time do you more harm in later turns (patron, frothing, northshire cleric etc.). no great synergy, no guaranteed activation, takes 2 turns to become active... do i have to go on? Might have some place in wild with deathrattle synergy card copy one seems like another rng card. games seems to be moving away from the skill, with a slight touch of luck to get the win (+ofc deckbuilding), towards the yolo "fun" is all that matters, "rng so fun" "look at all those nerds rage" "rng is love rng is live" "no skill without rng" "no luck, pure skill" (took me great effort to actually write that *insert worst thing you can imagine* stuff, but i felt it was needed to emphasize the extend of which rng is being promoted cant believe blizzard devs actually like yogg saron the most, he doesnt involve any planning, calculation, synergy or anything, just mindlessly cast spells and hope you get some RNG... well im assuming the liked it for the rng part, if not ignore my previous remark, but it seems very likely they actually do. (to make things clear the new 2x copy on draw card by itself isnt that much rng, its just the amount of new rng they are promoting that makes me worry) Can give huge value by amplifying essential cards in the deck: c'thun, anycancer, patron, huge endgame drops (ragnaros for example), more healing, more skill jugglers. might also backfire with priests dropping excavated evil or other things you dont want Oh forgot the most important one: more yogg saron, who wouldnt want that?...

Even when the faceless destroyer gets out, its whole 2 turns until he can attack... not happening in any serious game.

Don't know what to think about Twilight Summoner. I'm leaning more towards the "poor/below average" rating. It's a terrible pick for arena. Is setting up your turn 5 worth sacrificing your turn 4? With the nightmare worst-case-scenario of it been silenced.

And why would anyone play this card instead of a 5/4 or any 4 drop really

ah shadow madness, forgot that one, even at 3 mana i would still be hesitant. one could say playing this card against a priest is complete madness

Now that's a card I want to build around

I like it, sometimes you don't want the Auchenai to stick around anyways. And other times you don't care to blow 4 mana just for the effect (often the same time).
Very cool card.

Shitty Shitty card. I though it was impossible for a priest card to be worse then Confuse, but Blizzard never ceases to amuse me.
They better be holding some really good cards or this expansion will be an epic failure. (except for Shaman)

?
Priest already got one of the best cards being Forbidden Shaping. Embrace the shadow might open up a new combo deck like others said or maybe it goes in some form of aggro priest.

Even if they did though we've seen a good few cards that seem pretty strong like Mire Keeper, Steward of Darkshire, Mark of Y'Shaarj (boring but likely very strong as the biggest risk of buffs is that they lose you cards for tempo which is negated by drawing a card), both of the C'thun class cards, the new rag, Cho'Gall is insane if warlock gets a decent spell to support him, Polluted Horder is usually better than Gnomish Inventor which sees some play, C'thun's Servant is potentially shredder levels of good, the new Hogger is likely very strong in control, and N'Zoth/C'thun have the potential to be "I win" buttons on turn 10 depending on how good their support cards end up being.
Looks to be far from being a failure like TGT was.

you are kidding right? the card will find its way as a one of in most priest decks, with lightbomb gone priest will most likely return to archenai + circle combo as the big boardclear. sad thing is your soulpriest nearly dies aswell.. (3/1) with this card you can circle combo for 2 mana, and save your soulpriest for flashheal. it also increases the constistancy by a lot. I at least have been hoping for a second card like that for a long time, i think i wanted it as soon as i cleared the board the first time with arcenai/circle in late beta.
*edit: watching the stream aswell, he is hyping the card pretty hard. *edit2: that does not mean, that i dont think control priest needs some love.. i just like this card and have been hoping for it in a long while. and i dont think priest is in as bad aspot as you guys seem to think.

Mire Keeper - Average card. Steward of Darkshire - a tool that will help aggro decks or useless. Mark of Y'Shaarj - Good card. Cho'Gall - no synergy Polluted Horder - isn't better than Gnomish Inventor. You guys are too optimistic. C'thun's Servant - Agree. This card is the only powerhouse so far. New Hogger - not much better then Obsidian Destroyer. N'Zoth/C'thun - T10 is a loooong way to go m8. Meta is too fast for those decks to be reliable but i may be wrong. Time will tell.

They are taking away such core control deck cards as Deathlord, Zombie Chow and Lightbomb and what do we get instead? Another crappy card that fails to deliver anything impactful. I really hope we can see something better but I'm afraid Priest is running out of cards. Mixes spot on. Velen's Chosen is also saying goodbye. Forbidden Shaping isn't near as good as any of those cards. Priest is already weak, but this expansion will bury him for sure if it was released today.

Priest don't have ANY ways to consistently draw cards. You NEED to use at least 1 circle to draw or you can't keep up with your opponent. This card doesn't help consistency since it has no synergy with anything that's not the circle. Jokes on you if you plan to use it along Flash Heal / Far Seer as a "combo".
It seems like the only people who liked Embrace the Shadow are the ones who don't main priest.
