But let's try to evaluate their potential: Spreading madness is basically Maddest Bomber in Spell form. Mad bomber and Madder Bomber both have be played quite a lot in Arena so we can have an idea of what that will look like: A semi decent RNG based board clear if you are behind. Or a desperate finisher move. In both cases not reliable enough in any way shape and form for constructed. Even if the Grim Patron + Spreading Madness combos can be fun to setup. Probably a decent Arena card though but nothing crazy (pun intended ^^). As per Yogg-Saron itself I have no idea this effect is the most RNG of any effect ever. It can do anything: so it's basically a full reroll the game. I supposed if you are in a good position to lose said game doing a complete reroll on it might not be too bad but since your board has as much chance to survive the issuing madness as your opponent's board does: you probably give him the initiative back anyway. Overall seems really really bad. Strangely enough it would probably be better if you did not cats too many spell this game. Let's say you have cast 2 or 3. The chance of it being an overall beneficial effect is probably higher that if you have 10 of them. A decent amount of spell will be beneficial for you, but the more random spell casts the more that beneficial aspect has chance of being countered by something with a symmetrical effect: for example a decent amount a spells summon creatures for you but another decent amount of spell do symmetrical AoE that will kill them. Same with drawing cards a little is beneficial, too much can lose you the game outright by sending your deck into the nothingness and yourself deep into fatigue. A fun card, I can see people trying it: but I will probably pass my turn on it and really hope that it never become competitive.

Clicking the link, that card is from Legends... that set came out 25 years ago and people still remember the joke cards from it? Was it reprinted or something? I actually played from Revised Edition through Ice Ages. So Legends was the first expansion that came out while I was still playing. I actually own 0 Legends cards though because I was out of town the week of launch and when I came back boosters cost like $10 apiece and I was a little kid lol. This was during the first explosion of popularity for Magic iirc.

Yogg-Saron is a fine example of how all fun cards should be. Fits the theme as well. On April 08 2016 02:39 Nakara wrote: lolWell with Yogg-Saron's arrival we truly know the end times are upon us, not only are the old gods descending but it's the second coming of RNGesus as well.

Another possible option is a very spell heavy fatigue warrior where you just have ~80 health, and then you drop yogg-saron with relative faith in your ability to survive it. That is probably the only way I can possibly see YS being a somewhat consistently played card, and if that deck is strong I see YS getting nerfed/changed real quick. The other option is that we are all improperly predicting the average magnitude of the battle cry and that it will end up being more along the lines of, some RNG bullshit plus I draw cards. Also, I can't wait for YS to shadowstep himself.

Maybe something like... Battlecry: Your opponent discards their entire hand. ![]() I'm anticipating some good lols though, which is obviously the point.
