Just went 9-1 with a Priest (its so OP if you get some of the good cards). Lost the first game against a fellow priest (lol) and won the 9 others :D. Nice!

Such a tense game just now, was basically on 1 health for 7 turns or more (can't remember exactly) as priest, forced to use heal every turn (enemy was Hunter). He was out of cards in his hand, he never drew the right one or I had a counter ready and managed to snatch the win eventually

Just today I had a 7-3 run with a very minion heavy priest, nothing special, but I got a legendary and 2 epics in the reward pack (vanCleef, Auchenai Priest and Shadowform). Really lucky

Question about arena..

I just played a session and did pretty poorly at 3-3 but the decks I lost to were things like priest lightwell/inner fire wombo combo and the hunter kill command combo. Does it match arena decks against constructed decks or do people routinely draft that bullshit in arena that often? Seems pointless to try and put any random arena deck up against something that kills you on turn five unless you have the cards to stop it in hand.

If they would put arena decks against constructed, we would have had so much crying from constructed players of "my opponent had 4 fireball 7 polymorphs". That said I have had couple times luck on my side and killed enemy by like turn 5 or 6 when all the stars align on drawing just perfect cards. And got totally decimated the same way.

Had a great streak last two days.

4x 9-x
3x 8-3
1x 7-3
and one 0-3 (lol)

All of the 9-x were with mages.
8-3 were two priests one paladin
7-3 was paladin
0-3 was warlock :D

I have a saying from when I drafted 4 flame strikes as mage. "No one expects the 4th flamestrike..." Fought a druid on one run that had 5 swipes and 2 legendaries and I ended up meeting him twice, not even consecutively, played him lost, played someone else won, then played him again. I mc his 8/8 iron bark and he just double swipes it to clear the board. Then plays rag when I have 3+cards in my hand caus he's pegasus and knows I haven't drawn one of my other 3 mind controls which i ultimately never draw for another loss.

Just had a 9-2 priest run. One game was especially memorable though. I was vs a warrior on turn 6, I have decent board control at the time. He plays a tazzdingo and passes. I would have had to use 2/3 of my minions at the time to clear him, so instead I Shadow Madness it, wipe one of his other minions with it, then brewmaster it back to my hand. It was super buggy though, at first I wasn't sure what happened to it. It did the bug out on board thing for a bit, then eventually disappeared. 3-4 turns later I realize it IS actually in my hand (I can free move the card all over my hand lol) so I play it and proceed to win the game. :D I had a good laugh even before I realized that I did actually control it haha. ^^

His turn2: coin lightwell PW:shield

my turn 3: silence the lightwell, since I have no other plays and my faerie dragon can't deal damage. I have another silence in the deck too

His turn 3: divine spirit + inner fire, lightwell is now 10/10

1) how the hell did he managed to draft all the right cards?

2) how the hell did he managed to win games with unrealiable cards? (I was at 6 wins)

3) how the hell can anybody, even in costructed, pull off that combo on turn THREE????

Had what I thought was a crap priest deck (yes they can exist). I had 3 northshire clerics, and that's basically it (no mind controls even). Terrible 2-3 mana curve, in what was supposed to be a control deck.

Started 0-2. Thought out retiring the deck. Ending up going on a 9 game winning streak, still not sure how (a lot of luck I think).

Fuck deathwing, and fuck people that think i'm being serious when I say well played after they top deck deathwing with no cards in their hand and no board control. While playing druid ofc so i have no way of removing it. Just got top deck deathwinged again when i had lethal next turn and he had 0 cards in his hand hunter vs priest. sometimes this game...

Finally got a key yesterday and went 9-2 with priest in my first arena. Had a Prothet Velen that carried me. Following arenas with warrior/rogue went less good...
