 Wanted to try this really bad though, and got into beta a few days ago. After a little constructed with basic cards as priest (priest seems way more powerful than other classes with basic cards because I got to Masters2) I try arena some. And found I was really bad lol. 2-4 wins every time. I decided my drafts were bad and I thought it was because I draft too many class spells and not enough minions. 5 or 6 games of this, and then I just draft a warrior deck and was looking at it after and once again hardly any minions and all weapons or spells. I think I underestimated how good weapons are though haha cuz I'm 5-0 and stopped for now. 2-fiery war axe, 2 gorehowl, 1 arcanite reaper and 3 heroic strike is a lot of a damage. | ||

If you play warrior, weapons are awesome, helps you keep control of the board. A fiery axe lets you dish out a total of 6 damage for 2 mana, arcanite gets you a 10 for 5, talking about a bang for your buck. Anyways, I just finished my first arena run with 8-3 as mage (pretty excited tbh ^^). Here's the deck I've used: + Show Spoiler + arcane missile mana wyrm frost nova frostbolt acidic swamp ooze ironbeak owl x2 knife juggler x2 pint-sized summoner river crocolisk arcane intellect cone of cold mirror entity x2 injured blademaster raid leader razorfen hunter thrallmar farseer silvermoon guardian water elemental x2 azure drake x2 booty bay bodyguard fen creeper sylvanas windrunner venture co. mercenary flamestrike x2 Thinking in retrospect, I think I could have picked better cards (although my legendaries weren't a great deal, Sylvanas was....a bit underwhelming to say the least. Not that I expected much either, but still...). On the other hand, I've come to the conclusion that Azure Drakes are awesome and asked myself why they're not yet in my mage deck. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/8YVFKuj.jpg) I wanted to try showing Heartsone to a friend so i set up a stream (used ustream which was a BIG mistake - even thought i had twitch account also) to show him and do a recording. Sadly the recording failed and i only managed to get a vod of one game which was rather so-so but some nice plays (i think).+ Show Spoiler [Vod] + Im so mad i didn't get the last game vod cause that game was the most interesting ^^. I suffered full brain fart during it. From the start. I went against warrior. I started the game. On turn two i had two minions to play. Fairy Dragon and Ozze.... and as you might suspect i went with ozze. The moment i placed it i realised that i was against warrior and had only one in the deck. From there on i made a mistake after mistake. One of the most embarrassing was atacking the enemy hero with gurubashi berserker first and the suiciding the Abomination to kill one of the enemy minions (i almost flipped the table after i atack first with gurubashi...) it was left with one health and pretty high attack. Then i had to return it to hand with brewmaster and played it next turn... Somehow i managed to win that game despite screwing up something every turn... The warrior didnt have any weapons ^^ I managed to get 9-0 on the first arena run. | ||

Nat Pagle on the other hand (who i picked over Deathwing) gave me one card out of about 9 chances. Brutal. Really enjoying Paladin and Shaman at the moment so I'm always sad when i can't draft them. Current run is a Warrior which felt pretty bad drafting, my curve is a mess with one 3 drop total and i don't yet know how to factor in the armour up skill into any sort of strategy. Probably should have went with Rogue but i'm a plate wearer at heart. Death Knight expansion please >_> Definitely need to practise with more classes. This is i think my fourth draft now so it would do me well to get my head around most of the classes so i don't sit there not liking my three options when Shaman/Pally don't appear >_< | ||

another game i had an earth elemental and gave it double rockbiter, abusive sergeant and windfury to kill my opponent from 30 to 0, it was very hilarious | ||

Hopefully i can get some more Warrior drafts in to get a better handle on it. Like i think i picked Whirlwind and Abusive Sergeant and Inner rage over much better cards in the hopes of some Acolyte shenanigans. (???? idk) Sometimes i go into yolo combo mode, which is rather self destructive. Armoursmith seems pitiful too. | ||
