I don't get why people don't rate blessing of wisdom. It costs 1 mana, so even if it draws just 1 card it's been cost efficient, there's usually good potential to draw 3 if you have a taunt wall and it can be cast on an opponents big beasty as a deterrent.

Imo it's not that simple. If you have no good cards to use blessing of wisdom on then it sits in your hand for a long while, limiting your choices compared to if it were another card.

Never seen so much gold before!

Don't forget that you can also use it defensively by casting it on an enemy creature. In any case, I like to pick one up when I can.

10 wins with shaman. 355 gold and a pack. Its the best run Ive had in the arena so far, but Im still pretty disappointed I didnt get to 12 wins.

Not everyone has enough gas in the tank to safely get through Mage country, or the 6+ win territory, if you please. :D
I got a 10-3 run with Druid yesterday, a really strong deck, three swipes, good creatures and just the right amount of draw. Slightly lacking in finishers, but that didn't matter as much. It was all going fine (minus one strong paladin and an aggro rogue with coin), I beat like 5 or 6 mages out of the 10 wins. The last game was just dumb, though. I was kinda low on four drops, so I kept a Chillwind at mulligan (no coin). I got two five drops and a six drop. Went downhill from there.
Arena is getting boring, though. If I want to have fun, I have to pick the "lower tier" arena classes, like Priest or Warlock. But there's SO MANY mages. This needs to be refreshed, I feel.

Can't see the Ironbark , went 9-3 with it, was definatelly expecting bit worse though.

12 wins hunter deck, a pretty average deck...Only 315 gold and an epic though, annoyed.
Up to 1150 gold.
3 deadly shots pulled me out of some sticky situations and in the last game misdirection + sylvanas won me the game.
Paladin has an 8/8 and a 4/3 on the board, I have a 5/2 sylvanas.
He attacks face with lethal, misdirects into his own face, I trade with his 4/3 giving me his 8/8 and the game.

With a young dragonhawk and a grimscale i'd LOVE to have seen your other picks.
And Wild Growth is a bad card.

In one of my recent arenas, I was playing Mage against a Druid - he was at 9 life, I had 17, and I had total board control (3 creatures with 8 damage). Super late game.
He Innervates (which I think is odd with 10 mana) and then drops Deathwing. My hand consists only of Yeti, but I draw my one and only Argent Commander - play it, hit the face, ping the face.
How does a druid kill a 4/2 divine shield with only 4 life and Deathwing on the field? He doesn't. GG.

I'd rather pick dragonhawk than something like wisps, don't remember the third choice of 1 drops but they were more terrible than these two. Wild growth while not a great card if i remember correctly other choice were worse too. Also with this deck one of games i did triple-innervate-coin-Ironbark. http://i.imgur.com/zRBszNi.jpg

My last run was an 8 win mage. I picked mage because I was tired of playing around flamestrikes. My last opponents were mage, mage, mage, paladin, paladin, mage, shaman. Real diverse arenas here. I'm pretty happy about 8, but it's not that uncommon for me anymore

Hehe was expecting SW:D on turn 3 but he either didn't have it at all or didn't simply draw it. Even expecting it, when cards allign like this you simply go for it.
Edit: Latest run from 5-2 to 12-2, two cards that can't be seen pyroblast/molten giant. Pyroblast did all the finishing work in 40% of games. 325 gold + golden thoughtsteal

from 0-2 to 12-2 with funky early game deck hunter.
Notable cards: 3 Unleash the Hounds,1 Scavenging Hyena, 2 Hungry Crab (no joke it won me alot of games when i comboed with my murlocks and Houndmaster )
|
played a shaman deck last week with 0 hex, lightening storm, lightening bolt, or stormforged axe. still managed 6, but damn it sucked.
|
12-2 Paladin: 2 packs + 400 gold. Nothing notable in the packs. Had 3x Truesilver Champion, 1x Consecration, 1x Hammer of Wrath.
|
Pretty happy with this deck. Currently 6-0 with it, scared to play more and mess it up xD
But it has like everything I look for in my constructed rogue.. A couple of low cost minions to pop combos, nice charge finishers combined with cold blood and eviscerate, and some saps/taunts/silence to stay in the game long enough to pull it off. Sprint in case I run out of cards lategame and shadowstep+brewmaster to do some interesting stuff with the chargers/imp master :D

Edit: Final 9-3, good for my standards, a good player would have gotten 12 :D

12-0 for the first time. Mage of course.
12-X five runs in the last 22. :D
450 gold and a pack. Total gold = 1470.
