Trying to do tricks is fun as hell, and cutting people off and tackling one another and just laughing in the snow for a long ass time. Another fun thing is to go down sitting on your board down a double green or a blue or something, people around you start getting pissed and it's really fun until you start going too fast and have to fall down or something. Great times though. | ||

My first trip was the most powerful, and it sent me utterly out of my mind. One minute sitting in a chair, alone in my room, the next minute I am in another reality, completely unaware I had taken a drug. The first thing I noticed was that I was getting smashed repeatedly. It was as if I were the inside edge of a door, and the door kept slamming shut (it was a refrigerator door, for some reason.) I became aware of other beings who were being smashed repeatedly too. They were strange, irregularly shaped cone beings, and they were giggling wildly as they were getting smashed. But all I could feel was utter terror and horrible, shredding, grinding pain all over my body. I would try to get up and move so I would stop being smashed, but some force (the entity?) kept shoving me back into place, so I would be smashed again and again. It just repeated over and over, and it hurt so much. I knew this would go on for an eternity. I had Tool on the stereo, and Maynard (the singer) began talking to me, telling me I could never go back to my reality, that it was utterly hollow and fake. I became aware of millions of beings looking at me - I was in the center of some stadium or something - and they could look into my soul. I was utterly naked, just pure fear. I could see my whole life and my whole world were fake, like the set of a sitcom after the actors have left the set and the lighting has been shut off. Finally I was able to move my body, so I got up (I had fallen onto my floor - my chair was completely tipped over in the opposite direction, and I have no idea how any of that happened - and ran out of my room. I tried to explain to my Mom, who had no idea what I had been doing, that I had been the essence of being smashed. I was speaking like a crazy person. After the trip started to subside, I felt like an evil dimension was emanating from my right side. The trip was pure horror. After several years of reflecting upon it, I think it was a sort of allegory referring to modern machine societies, in which we are like little cogs in the machine. Our lives are utterly mediated. We are disconnected from the cycles of the universe (the real world, if you will) and live in plastic, artificial, highly controlled worlds, dominated by bosses, laws, television, bureaucracy. The malevolent force I felt was that of society, the evil currents running through society that lead sane and good people to be evil - like the Nazi Germans or present day Americans. The experiences gained through salvia can be immensely difficult and painful. I don't recommend this drug to anyone. Far better is wisdom gained through hardwork and deep extended contemplation. | ||

i should elaborate. salvia makes you feel heavy and slow for about 3 minutes. your mind starts to wander through blank space and you can't think about anything really. it's almost like what you would feel after a few hours of meditation. i've smoked salvia something like 5 times and honestly it's a waste of money. who here's tried acid? there's something that will put you in your place. | ||

What you describe is more like the come-down phase of the trip. Sounds like you just got the after-effect without the trip. | ||

Your trip, Inky, sounds like one of the most profound I've heard of. I also wanted to say that my friend had the same experience of everything being made of legos. His friend threw a pillow at him, which felt hard, and it shattered into individual lego blocks when it hit him. Anyway, just remember that mushrooms are the way to go kids | ||

What can I expect from acid? I plan on taking it when I go to Bonaroo in the summer ._. Ive taken shrooms a bunch of time and Im comfortable with them. Is it more visual or mental high? | ||

Shrooms & LSD are great, a nice voyage. I personally enjoy shrooms more. For anyone curious go to www.erowid.org. Seriously, any drug choice should be accompanied by knowledge of it. Respect the substance and the power that it can relay to you. But overall most intense was 600mg of DXM. It ended up being 40 liquid gels. MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT HAVE ACETAMINOPHEN or any other active ingredient. There was a sense of body into one sense of consciousness, no real feeling of limbs/hands/extremities. Near death experiences (I was ready to die almost, comfortable with the fact that it could happen at any time) Had a "rolling into ones mind" feeling. Sorta like tunnel vision, but my sense of sight went deeper into me instead of just front of face. Breathing was intense and almost euphoric, (kinda like eating while high, or menthol while rolling). No motivation to move, double vision with huge CEV's, many voices and auditory hallucinations. A mental shut down sorta like a K-hole. Almost a spiritual experiences with being able to feel feelings and emotions as concrete "waves". I could see them coming, then when they contacted my body, I would experience the emotion/feeling (wether it be pain, discomfort, or whatever). and once they passed through my body, the feeling would be gone.... IN..FUCKING...TENSE. Nothing compared to shrooms/LSD. Whats with the legal drugs being the ones that distort reality so much more than illegal substance?!..... | ||

I find it to be much more intense mentally, though in a different way. I become primal, less aware of myself when I'm on mushrooms, where as Acid puts me into a deep introspection. The visuals on Acid are very intense. THe things are there just the same, but patterns move and constantly rearrange themselves, you feel as though looking at something you can just keep looking deeper and seeing more (it's hard to explain). Everything is difficult to express in language. There's a strong possiblity that Time will take on a very different meaning, in a way I simply can't explain. You might also have very visual experiences with music. It's definitely worth doing, though I would have trouble handlign it at a concert. It depends on who's playing really. Also, Acid trips are as different as the people who take them, so what I've said here might be absolutely not what you experience | ||

I was itially worried about hte big setting (most I did shrooms was with 8 ppl tripping and 2 sitters) but I've really never had a problem. I think since it's music and there's undoubtably gonna be a lot of stoned ass hippies, Ill fit right in ahha | ||
