I tried salvia for my first time yesterday and im not sure if ima do it ever again. I have to say it was the weirdest shit that ive ever experienced. it was me and four of my friends sitting in the living room and i was sitting on the couch when i hit the bong with the salvia in it and it was 21 extract (i thought the extract went by multiples of 5 or 10 but this really was 21). I hit the bong and i held it in for around 17 seconds (goal was 30) and then i blew out the smoke and i get this really shitty taste in my mouth for a brief second. as soon as I say "ew tastes like shit", the trip begins because thats the last thing i remember before the trip.
Its kinda impossible for me to explain what I saw.. or not really what i saw or felt but kinda what I lived. I was completely in another world. I tried to explain to my friends what I felt but I coudlnt.. All i remember (or what I think I remember) is basically I was in a big grassy field with little elementary kids standing in a single file line and a teacher was telling the kids to count off starting from 1 and at some point a kid messes up and they had to start over.. and then he messes up again and again and then the trip somehow changes to my friend thats holding a bowl of soup and he accidentally drops the bowl and this replays over and over again and as I begin to say "don't spill it", my voice suddenly starts turning REAL deep and slow so its like DOONNNNNNTTTTTT SPPPPIIIILLLLLLL ITTTTTTTT in slow mo and then i hear laughter in the background. This is when I realize that all of reality and everything that I knew to be true was false. I realized that there was someone or something out there that can fuck with everything however they wanted (that someone was the one who was making everything repeat)..i somehow vaguely remember human bodies interlocking together like zippers (they werent corpses dead or naked it was just ..idk).
k let me try to clarify what I mean by something that can fuck with everything however they wanted. I mean that there was something out there that can do anything it wanted to and it was basically god..humans are basically nothing and it can totally fuck with our lives however the hell it wanted to. the "god" can make shit repeat over and over again or maybe put a black hole in the middle of America, etc.
well anyways after i realized that i started screaming NO NO NO NO really loud and then the next thing i do is bolt out of my friends house and i run down(skipping 3 or 4 steps at a time) two flights of stairs at full speed. at the bottom of the steps I fall down but I keep running and I run across the street as fast as I can until i reach the other side ( it was an apartment complex so no busy cars).
By the time I reach the other side of the road I realize where I am and turn aroudn to see my friend who chased after me when I began to run. I was too tired to talk then and I told him I was fine and that I'll explain once we sit on the sofa (even though later I coudlnt describe to him what I experienced).
throughout the three minutes while I was visioning everything I saw, i had no conscious awareness of my physical body. apparently my friends told me that I was walking around a bit, drooling, and mumbling before I started yelling NO and ran out the house. I had no control or knowledge over my body so I cant understand how people talk about actually doing things on their own will while tripping off salvia.
The reason I started screaming No was because I wanted to stop everything from repeating and i didnt want to accept the fact about reality.
But i have no idea why I ran out the house..maybe to run away from the truth? lol idk
I was so shocked at how different salvia is from weed. Nothing close to each other.
I remember running down the stairs but I dont remember me actually telling my body to run down. And i also dont remember falling but thats what my friend told me and i found two big scrapes on my knees when I got back in the house. My friend told me while I was running down the stairs, I was holding on to the railing and I was going so fast then when I was turning to go down the second flight of stairs, I basically swung around and leaped down and thats how I fell..lol
My friend caught most of my trip on video and hopefully he'll upload it on youtube but sadly he didnt catch me running out of the house and down the stairs. I'll post the video when he posts it on youtube. One scene in the video, during my trip I was standing up against the wall and I suddenly turn and look at my friend with the camera and I yell NO and he gets scared and runs to the kitchen HAHAAH
what scares me is what if my friends house was ont he side of a big road or something.. im definately gonna chill out with the salvia
anyways.. I was glad when I was straight after running across teh street. I was in a bad world and I didn't like it. I was never so happy to be back in my friends living room... salvia also made me realize how awesome bud is.

I tried 20x once, laughed for a while... Then I felt so empty I thought I was dead, it felt like hours but was just a few minutes in reality, not pleasant.
Salvia is famous for fucking up even people who are very experienced with psychadelics like acid and shrooms, salvia doesnt give anything unlike those drugs tho. And the effect is much shorter.

having a partner is always good with salvia because of freak out potential. 20x is powerful...i've used 5x and 10x, which causes a good sensation the lucid dreams/trips and out of body stuff. it's not like bud at all, but it is very very wild.

I realised i had been taking slightly shorter steps with my left leg for my entire life when i took mushrooms for the third time, that was a pretty great discovery.
Knocking your concious out of its normal pattern can really help to put things into perspective, salvia is absolutely not good for that tho..

yeah man, i had a real shitty experience with it as well and i know exactly what you're talking about. The whole repeating slow mo thing.....scariest fucking shit ever. It's like nothing exist and all is just....like fake or something.
Reality truly deteriorates in a negative when on salvia. Very shocking and uncomfortable experience for me.

I've done Salvia once and nothing happened to me. But I was already drunk, and completely ripped off ecstasy.
Anyways, nice read. A friend of mine had a similar experience when he did it. He hallucinated being in a psychiatric hospital, and there was a group of doctors telling him, he went crazy. He said it felt like hours, but in reality he was only high for about 3 minutes.

Mushrooms have lots of variables. You can control yourself pretty well. But you still might "freak out", it will however be all in your mind. I've never seen anyone get physical while high on mushrooms. Don't get me wrong though, it's nothing even close to being high or drunk. It's a whole other thing on it's own.

You are aware on shrooms and acid, you normally have sufficient logical thinking to make quite good decisions. Not as good as when you are drunk and stoned tho...
You also have a hard time concentrating on a thought. You might just forget what you were talking about in the middle of a sentence because your mind is just super creative and has little ability to focus on one thing, your mind drifts like never before...
It of course depends on how much you take and if you take shrooms with other people, ive taken 5.5 grams of dry shrooms ( super trip) alone. That was insane. If you're alone you get stronger visuals and you kind of drift into a world of your own unlike when you trip with others.
Here is some stuff about that trip:
The floor was dripping upwards and the dots on my dotted shirt were all eyeballs blinking at me, then when i laid down in my bed and looked up at the lamp in the ceiling there was a lizard there with a eyeball in its mouth, trying to communicate with me ( yes i was close to talking to an object of my imagination)
was a pretty insane trip, its funnier when i look back on it. At the time it was somewhat frightening, and I was just 17...

My buddy did 40x and said he floated in his chair out of an apartment building, looked back and was floating 20 stories up watching everyone in the building through the walls... then his friends woke him up and he was fine after that... dont do salvia kids!

i smoked salvia in my bathroom at college with some kid i didn't know. apparently it was the super strong shit. i remember taking about 3 hits out of a pipe and holding them in for a while. then it was like my whole reality changed. i was unawear that i ever existed, everything was a glowing brown and yellow and i it looked like there were flowers comming out of the walls. eventually i grabbed the biggest flower i could see, which turned out to be the door handel. after this i stumbled out of the bathroom into my room, one of my friends was sitting in my chair. i asked him to move, he said no but also didn't know i was on salvia. for some reason this freaked me out and pissed me off and i suddenly grabbed my freebreeze which was right next to me and started spraying him in the face telling him 'get the fuck out now!' i ended up chasing him out of the room. then i started babbeling some random shit no one understood and eventually i came back to reailty. Overall this experience wasn't worth it. i tried it one more time afterwards and the trip wasn't so bad.
Salvia isn't the best drug to do. mainly because it's so strong and brief. Shrooms are longer and much safer. you really can end up doing stuff that's completely out of character on salvia.

Man... Research your drugs before you do them
I did Salvia 3-5 times before I had the sort of trip you're talking about. Salvia is a very precise drug, you have to do it just right to get the full effect. It looks like you did it the right way
My trip was very similar to yours... The biggest difference was that I was going into it with the mindset of "Damnit, It's going to work this time!" And boy did it. I took the biggest hit I could out of a ~2 foot bong... The last thing I remember is my vision was totally blurry in a whirlwind counter clockwise circle, with the only "visible" things in the room being the faces of my 2 friends as I laugh histerically and tell them to take the bong quickly...
After that it was a good eternal 5 minutes.... From my friends perspectives, I just started laughing hysterically and sweating profusely. From my perspective I had lived another existence... Really weird shit... It's been quite a few years now, but the one memory from the trip that really sticks out after all that time is that at one point I was at a railroad station -- working there -- and I was telling my coworker that I would simply not move. Ever. I was standing down on the track with my arms resting on the rails (Somehow the rails were aligned with my shoulders).
I came out of the trip telling my friends that I simply would not move. I slowly came back to reality...
Salvia is most likely the second most powerful psychadelic if used properly... second only to DMT... (you can argue Datura and Ibogaine if you wish )
Salvia isn't a drug for recreational use, but I could see it's purpose as a spirital "enhancer" in the shamanistic and/or hippie senses. On my uses where I didn't get the full blow effect, I've noticed that it still has really strange psychoactive effects... On a medium-light dose your mentality is completely trashed (but you still stay within what we call reality). I've had friends get up and run into the other room ect. Just because they "felt the need to"... I always have an effect where I view the room around my as "bordered" with geometric shapes that are aligned all over the room... Impossible to explain, but I'll try...
3 people sitting on a couch next to eachother with a coffee table in front of them, becomes 3 square territories each containing a person, with the coffee table in it's rectangular territory in front... and they all 4 align to form a bigger square which aligns with the rest of the artifacts of the room.

Edit: I would say that if you're interested in this type of experience, I would recommend starting with mushrooms or lsd. Mushrooms are my personal favorite... Much more predictable than Salvia, and enjoyable.

i had a very crazy experience on 20x which left me scared to do it ever again..
the effects u had were similar to mine.
things repeating over and over and over again to the infinite and u have no idea how that is happening.
i lost my physical being and just became this soul entity thing.
i also felt very very trapped and after i came out of it, i started doing unreasonable things like throwing myself on the ground and running super fast towards the door and slammed by body against it cuz i just felt like it needed to happen.
salvia is insane....
