I agree, Bernie is a great admirable dude, but he is too old.
Who do we have to continue progressivism in his stead though? We saw a slew of milquetoast centrists raise their slimy heads up during the primaries but where does American progressivism go within the Democrats?

Also seems like in Michigan they are counting in-person votes first?

Bernie would have lost Florida 100%. Although it looks like it'll turn out like that anyway, do you really think that Bernie would have had a chance in the midwest?

If you count Florida Trump up 121-119

Wasn't Nina Turner doing the Third Party thing next go around? Tbh I'd vote People's Party every time.

He'll be 83 in 2024. He seriously needs someone younger to champion the movement. Nina Turner is young, energetic, progressive, and charismatic. I'm thoroughly left of the US progressive movement but she's by far the best champion imo, though the sociological factors at play will probably keep her from even getting close.

It was like this in 2016 too, I was with my coworkers and thinking that there was no way the USA would be dumb enough to elect Trump, but here we are. In 2016 at least he was a political unknown. There was a chance he would at least surround himself with competent people and do a good job despite being a bad person. I truly can't understand how it is close this year though. While people might not like Trump, they don't like what the Dems are offering even more. How is that hard to understand? By the way looks like I will be right about FL with Trump at +3%. Doing nothing about covid except making it worse with massive rallies is better than what the Dems are offering? A lot of people are against lockdowns and Dems backed lockdowns hard, plus COVID isn't the end all be all. Maybe the dems are better on COVID, but people are turned off by their economic proposals or foreign policy, etc. You're acting like people are one-issue and they don't calculate dynamically. Plus, we have no idea how people ordinally rank their preferences.
Well that happens to be the economic issue for the foreseeable future, in addition to all of its other impacts. If 200,000 Americans had died in an ongoing war, would that not be the main issue people voted on?

The way she gets treated by Doughnut Democrats is disgusting. They would never risk letting her win.

NYT tracker in NC is giving some interesting info. Uncounted votes went down from 1.8m to 1.5m. Meanwhile Biden's lead went down from 225k to 150k. Implies that of the 300k votes most recently counted they went to Trump at a nearly 2:1 ratio.

Nina Turner isn't running in the Dem primaries next go around though, right?
EDIT: What's a doughnut democrat?
