hondas/acuras are pretty damn reliable though so if the mechanic clears it, u should be in the clear for a while. my buddy drives a 92 accord and it has over 180k miles on it, still gets from pt A to pt B. btw 200,000km = 124,274 miles i drive a 95 land rover range rover... damn british cars are so funky (not very many mechanics are knowledgable about land rovers here in california not surprisingly), the mileage blows (13 mpg), engine oil leaks, etc. but it was free compliments of my grandparents so i cant complain. | ||

KBB, practically the authority on used cars, values this car at around $2000 from a private party, which is exactly what i would value it around give or take a few hundred dollars depending upon area of the country and perks (leather, cd player, etc), and assuming it is in "good" condition meaning while not shimmering sparkling fantastic, it is a decent reliable car. Your assesment of the value of the car being under $1000 is idiotic and baseless. Yes a dealer wont give you shit for a car, but since when have they ever? Unless it's brand new you never sell to a dealer unless youre just desperate. CollegeBoard, eat a dick, your understanding of anything in that virtual memory argument was based entirely off a wikipedia article, which is not about to dive into the intricacies of any particular subject. You were called out on about 5-6 different flaws in comments you made, and ignored them all and continued to attack my understanding of virtual memory with oversimplified lamens definitions. The only error I brought into that conversation was making virtual memory directly addressable by developers, which i was probably wrong about, or at least to some degree, since as evidenced by simple observation of system behavior VM is not strictly used as an extension of physical memory when none is available. The rest of your comments in that thread clearly showed your understand of all things general to be below standard, and nothing but rehash of what other sites have pasted. | ||

You say that it's not worth $1500 CAD? KBB values it at ~1700 USD in good condition, and on top of that I accidently put in 200 000 miles instead of kilometes. Auto trader has the following: '92 Integra GS, 100000 miles: 4200 USD '91 Integra LS, 140000 miles: 2200 USD '91 Integra RS, 150000 miles: 2000 USD How does that make his car a bad deal? I drove it off a 8 foot cliff when I was trying to be like Pierce Brosnan and kissing my g/f driving around in the country. The windshield is broken, the gas tank does not open unless you get out and pull on it very hard, the breaks squeel, it has no insurance, I had to take a crowbar and wedge open the window 2 days ago cause I locked my keys in the car, so there is a big gap between the frame and the window, I lit my ash tray on fire at a stoplight because I put a still lit cigarette in a pile of butts ( I had to put out the fire with the remaining liquid from a 1 liter mountain code red mountain dew bottle ) | ||
