It's scary how many people believe the video to be real, with big western media even presenting it as real. It's almost as if westerners are as easily fooled by propaganda as the north koreans.
What else do we swallow as truth without a second thought?

I think the biggest "tell" that the video is fake is the production values. That's WAY too good for NK propaganda work.

I dunno I could find it believable bc i remember a post somewhere on here or in the thread where that guy was streaming NK tv where they had NK/USSR/China winning all the gold medals in the olympics lol

Heads up fishies, you've got more missiles incoming:
North Korea fires rockets as Pope Francis' arrives in South Korea on first Asia tripNorth Korea fired three short-range rockets into the Sea of Japan just before Pope Francis arrived in Seoul on his first visit to Asia. ..... The last rocket was fired 35 minutes before Pope Francis was due to touch down. "North Korea fired three short-range projectiles into the East Sea (Sea of Japan)," a South Korean defence ministry spokesman said. ..... Church officials in the South had sent several requests to Pyongyang to send a group of Catholics to attend the event, but the North declined the offer, citing its anger at upcoming South Korea-US military drills. ..... Source More butthurt as usual too:
North Korea warns South over upcoming drill with USSEOUL (AFP) - North Korea warned South Korea on Thursday that failure to cancel an upcoming military drill with the United States would push the two sides "to the brink of war". In a lengthy statement that offered no direct response to Seoul's recent offer of high-level talks, the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK), which handles cross-border ties, issued a long list of measures the South should implement if it was "sincere" about improving relations. The joint military drill scheduled to begin on Monday "should be cancelled unconditionally", the statement said, adding that failure to do so would push the "Korean peninsula to the brink of a war and increase the danger of a nuclear war". ..... whoever named this thread was a genius because we are getting our money's worth out of that title

More like, renamed. It was initially everyone taking North Korea at least half seriously, except the South Koreans, because, yea. They knew lol. After several false flags, it became a bit of joke, although the way North Korea treats its citizens is nothing to laugh about.

Nice too see that NK still showing who is boss, I mean the sea had it coming, bomb the shit out of it!

I think they are protecting the world against the megalodon.

North Korea transfers tanks to Chinese borderNorth Korea has transferred one of its newest and most modern armoured units to the border with China, in the latest indication of the depth of the rift between the two erstwhile allies. An estimated 80 tanks of the 12th Corps of the North Korean People’s Army have been reassigned to Ryanggang Province, the strategically important frontier region that shields North Korea’s east coast ports, including Wonsan. South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo newspaper reported that no tank units had previously been stationed in the province and that the 12th Corps has been reinforced with an armoured infantry unit, artillery sections equipped with multiple rocket launchers and brigades trained to carry out “special warfare”. ..... Quoting South Korean sources, the paper also reported that a further 80 armoured personnel carriers were scheduled to be deployed to the province in the near future, apparently on the orders of Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader. The reason for the transfer of front-line units away from the heavily fortified border with South Korea is the growing fear in Pyongyang that China, North Korea’s only significant ally, could be preparing to “betray” Mr Kim’s regime. ..... Source And the original report from Chosun Ilbo here:
N.Korea Moves Tanks, Armored Vehicles to Chinese BorderNorth Korea has moved scores of tanks and armored vehicles to an Army corps near the border with China in Ryanggang Province. The 12th Corps, which was established in 2010, is tasked with responding to movements of Chinese troops in an emergency. A source on Monday said about 80 tanks have been deployed in Ryanggang Province, where there had not been a single one before. The corps has been "turned into an attack force after it has been reinforced" with an armored infantry unit, a unit of multiple rocket launchers, and a special warfare and sharpshooter brigade. Some 80 new armored vehicles are expected to be deployed soon to the 42nd Brigade in the province. Leader Kim Jong-un has reportedly ordered the rapid deployment of these new vehicles, which have a top speed of 80km/h carrying 10 to 15 troops. More than 10 new tanks with an automatic fire-control system and a computer monitor have also been deployed to this unit. The source attributed the moves to fears that sole ally China could "betray" the North amid increasing pressure on Pyongyang to give up its nuclear program. Source The report only has one "source" so a little bit of salt is required; nonetheless it might not be too far off from the truth. After all, NK has reinforced its border with China multiple times in the past before.
For them to begin shifting their most advanced assets away from the DMZ to the Chinese border instead is something new; it doesn't mean we're going to be seeing hostilities between the two countries today or tomorrow, but it's something to keep an eye on for the next few weeks until the U-FG exercises end.

It's not really "Dangerous" in any sense but it is different from what NK usually does. Guess China and NK aren't buddies buddies anymore?

Here you can see a rare glimpse of the most modern armored units of North Korea
+ Show Spoiler +
Do they think they can really dick around with China? I mean the only reason why they can extort some humanitarian help from South Korea from time to time is that Seoul is so close to the border. After a quick look at the map, the closest city to North Korea China has, is Yanbian, around 2 million people live there, but it is sure not the capital. Also, I'm pretty sure that you cannot hold China with 80 tanks, hell, I'm not sure if you gonna win some time, if you get attacked from them.

The little detail lately is the 500ish mile range Missile. Doesn't sound like a huge issue for China-North Korea, but that puts Beijing within Missile range of NK. Something to keep in mind.

NK can't fire on China... China would vitrify NK instantaneously.

NK can't fire on flippin anyone unless they want the Korean Peninsula to become the Korean Archipelago. If they ever nuke someone, it'll be as a we're-going-to-die-anyways retaliatory action on their part.
