And while it's great that Riot puts so much money back into the tournament scene, they do that because they need to buy loyalty from their players - otherwise they will just switch to the next good free game, or even the next MOBA game. They know they need to build a strong foundation because DOTA2 and Blizz DOTA will hit them like an earthquake. edit: not to mention, kotaku is gawker so their opinion on ESPORTS is about as valuable dirt. DOTA isn't going to do shit to LoL in korea.

I seen the IPL LoL stream reach over 150,000 viewers when I tuned in to watch for 5 minutes, I don't really know what it peaked at or how many unique viewers there were but that number is huge. Especially if you compare it to some of the most popular SC2 streams. Now if only Blizzard would smarten up and just update Battle.net 2.0 (0.2 for those who prefer that) so that it's UI is similar to LoL's... I am not a fan of that game as a competitive medium, or even as a spectator, it is fun to play but I can't take it seriously. Anyways, no matter how much anyone hates the game for whatever reason, the UI they have is amazing. It's easy and straight forward with lots of direct links to streams and tournaments going on at the moment, it's smart.

By being too greedy, Blizzard is actually going to lose more money in the end because they killed the popularity of their own game. They need to fix their mistake by making SC2 cheap to buy the full version and making it easier/cheaper for PC Bangs to carry the game.

The amusing thing is that for a long time, the PvP.net client was extremely terrible. It's just that Riot, you know, actually listened to people complaining and fixed a ton of stuff.

SC2 is still missing most of the features WC3 had and it seems like Blizzard is withholding them for the last expansion to try to gain sales, when instead by making Battle.net worse now, they are hurting the popularity of their game now which will hurt future expansion sales. lol, this is why I feel that HoTs isn't worth it, the game is going downhill, so many things were promised when the game first come out, and they still haven't implement it. I don't give a damn that people say at least they are doing it now, they should have done it a long time ago. Why does it feel like they are paying us instead of us paying them? Why do people get so happy when blizzard announce a freaking resizable chat?? I don't get blizzard fan boys sometimes.
