i mean you can make that argument about a 4gate in a progame (i figure sc2 metaphors are more interesting)
yea i can 4gate as a not progamer but it'd be missing the small details and execution. for most people it doesn't matter they just wanna smash some nerds or play to their ability
a $15 pair of jeans won't have the same fabric, won't have the same zippers, won't have the same fit, won't have the same stitching. same with a shirt, same with boots (although, i'd argue that it's always better to get better boots than cheap ones).
that said, it's still up to the person if they want to worry about those details. most people don't care if their jeans hve YYK Excella zippers. but some do.

The returns on sale now are at 80% off. Incotex at $70. Too bad only US shipping.

|
out of interest, does mr.p do discounting on further sale (i.e. if i buy at 50% off and it goes down to 70%, will they refund the difference?)
|
dont think that's how it works, it'd be pretty clowny eg, if customers buy something at retail and find that the item immediately gets discounted during a seasonal sale, it's not like they can demand that retailers refund them the difference pretty sure only really small retailers practice this, and only for very loyal customers.

Actually a lot of retailers practice this, big and small.
In fact I did this last week - I bought a pair of shoes on sale at TheCorner, then further price drops reduced it another 30 bucks and I emailed them and got the difference refunded.
No retailers have to do it but many offer it as a courtesy/guarantee to entice you to buy the item instead of waiting for fear of "a better deal" later. Therea re typically limits (within 7 - 14 days) but it exists.

they also have these policies because normies rarely use them if at all
