I've got identical twin cousins and identical twin nieces. They're still not the same, physically or mentally. You can tell them apart fairly easily.
For example, one of my nieces has a birthmark where the other doesn't. Her ears stick out a bit less. She's a lot more introverted as opposed to the other one. Her likes & dislikes are different. She's already lighter because she doesn't like sugary stuff or meat as much as the other too. The list goes on.

When these babies are put into a stressful condition that elicits fear or anything of the like, and BOTH brains send nerve impulses to the adrenal gland, would their body overload in epinephrine and spike up their heartrate so much that they could die?
I mean, they are making their body go through twice the amount of adrenaline than one of us. Shouldn't that be a very concerning part of discussions on whether they would survive or not?

A properly functioning endocrine system should have negative feedback loops to stop the excess of any hormone so I don't think that this would be a problem but obviously this is a very special case so you can't be sure.
