However there have been other known cases, notably Abigail and Brittany Hensel who were born in the US in 1990. They aim to live as normal a life as possible, even taking their driving test when they were 16. Doctors say separating the twins, named Jesus and Emanuel, is not currently an option because there is only one set of organs, Reuters reports. dicephalic parapagus affected around one in 100,000 pregnancies, but that around half do not reach full-term. Apparently the twins Abigail and Brittany Hensel both control half of their body. Think about the coordination that takes. I know my brother and I my understand each other more than most people (because we've always been together) but still. They Hensel twins also differ in the fact that they are known to have two of certain organs such as the heart. Is it confirmed by DNA that they are both female? Yes, I know that there is only one set of genitals, but before a person was a conjoined twin. The second twin died early on (very early on) and was not present at birth, but a second set of DNA was in the system. Now for the semi-trolling question. Wouldn't it be interesting if one could control the whole body, but the other was only able to bite the controller's ear?

They need to be same gender, cause they are from the same egg. non identical twins are from 2 different eggs. Twins can either be monozygotic ("identical"), meaning that they develop from one zygote that splits and forms two embryos, or dizygotic ("fraternal") because they develop from two separate eggs that are fertilized by two separate sperm. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin And afaik siamese twin can only happen with 1 egg involved

On a serious note, I have a severe concern that one set of vital organs will not be able to support two fully functional heads (brains). Our brain uses a ton of resources, and one heart trying to pump enough blood up there seems like it will be overworked :/

Oh, that's right. I completely forgot about homeostasis and the feedback mechanisms within the human body. Thanks for reminding me!

Lol reminds me of an old bug in bw, where you could either create a ever ending Archon Morph or 2 templar walking about cliffs and so
