If this thread gets closed I suppose I understand, I'm just looking for some helpful feedback regarding a new fake ID I just got. I'm looking to go to bars and I know of plenty of my friends who have been tricked by the bouncers with questions they ask. My question for you is what sorts of questions should I be prepared for? Here are the ones I know already:

1. Obviously the info on the ID
2. Year I graduated from high school
3. What high school I attended
4. Capital of the state I'm "from"
5. What year in college I'm in

I appreciate any help you guys can give me!

You really get put through that sort of shit? I don't even get ID'd at most of the places I go. I guess fakes are more rampant in the US where you need to be 21.

If your going to a place that has bouncers you might as well not even try depending on the scale of the place. Many have scanners/ tags that would be very hard to replicate by some basement ID copier. My friend trained as a security guard and a huge part of the course is basically recognizing fake ids on the spot.

why would you be asked where you graduated from? If you got a fake id you should have been from a far away town where the bouncer would have no idea about that kind of information.

One thing that sadly catches some people by surprise is how old you "are."

you can repeat all you want that your birthday is 7-11-1988 but how old does that makes you? dumbass friend of mine lost that one pretty bad.

Well given that you're from the US I can understand that sentiment, 21's a joke. I don't think the thread itself goes against the Ten Commandments (of TL) and you're not proposing anyone do anything illegal, however rule #1 may apply.

Anyway as for questions, as you said, know the info on your ID, and don't fuck yourself over by showing a credit card or whatever (while pulling it out) with a dif name(assuming your fakeid doesn' have your own name). Similarly they'll maybe know the state you're from(the way you wrote it suggests you're not from the state your id says you are) so whatever town/shit is written on it be sure u know major sites or some shit if they randomly ask. Mostly just don't appear super cool or super nervous, both I think let bouncers know something is up straight off the bat.

I don't know but if you get busted you are basically screwed. I wouldn't recommend using it, just wasted money.

Well, if you're faking that you're not from nearby, then unless the dude is by chance from that area, he'll probably just be reading your eyes and body language. Just be good at lying.

I don't even use a fake. Just walk in like you belong there and you shouldn't get shit, if they card you then just casually hand it to them. Half of working a fake is acting like it's routine.

Man I went to a strip club when I was 20 (In Canada) with my legit ID, and because I had lost 50ish lbs the guy totally didnt believe it was me, refused to let me enter, and wanted to keep my ID and destroy it. Was totally retarded.

My friend who is underage got carded, she gave her real ID as if it was natural, the guy only checked the year (she were going to be old enough in 3 months) and let her in.

Yes. Does the fake have your picture on it? That helps. Some clubs just look really closely at the holograms, will compare the eyes etc. and it might just not work.

So act natural, know what's on it, and hope for the best.

Edit: And every bar is used to seeing fakes. You won't probably go to jail if you fail, just not be allowed in. But there are obviously legal risks.

Amazing first post.

I've known plenty of people throughout college who had fake IDs. Like others have said, be sure to know your age (not just birth DATE, YEARS FOO!), and relax. If you're super nervous it throws off signals. As long as where you are doesn't use machine scanners and is hand checking them, knowing the info on the card inside and out should cut it for you.

It's not worth it man. Not only for the trouble you can get into (which can be quite a bit) but the trouble you can get the establishment you drank at into as well (which just isn't fair to them).

If you must drink get your parents to get it for you and drink at home and stay there. It's cheaper and safer that way.

Seriously though, what the hell?! It's as if this guy made a TL account cuz he just HAD to make this comment. In my opinion (as well as personal experience)the years between 17 and 21 rarely give you the experience / proper judgement which the law pretends magically instills within you the day you turn 21. In short, I know a few people under 21 who would N - E - V - E - R drive while drunk, and meanwhile i know 3 people who have over 10 DUIs between them and they STILL fucking do it every weekend. Two of these people are 25 years old and the other is like 33. There IS a reason you have to be 21, sure, it's the law. Is there a GOOD reason? Debatable. Poor first post is poor.
