EPTTo me the psychological effect probably comes from being HUMAN feces, not just feces. There's just something weird about eating food from your own species. I mean, even drinking human milk probably grosses most adults out.

To be honest I would be okay eating it if I never found out what it was made of and I don't get E.Coli. If it tastes the same and has the same texture and the same nutritional value then there's no real point in making a big bubub about it. Just don't tell me I'm eating crap! | ||

Vegetarians are busy eating veggies grown on land fertilised by manure. What's the difference? Honestly, people happily eat crap like hotdogs and they're like 12% "meat" (i.e. disgusting scraps of flesh ground and mashed up), and 88% filler. Most delicious sweets we eat (and the coatings of medicine tablets) are made from gelatine; a substance obtained from grinding up and cooking pig/cow skin and bones. Many cheeses are made from adding mould to the mix and leaving it for a couple of months to mature. I could go on, but you get the idea - lots of the foods we eat have disgusting origins, but the final product can be oh-so tasty. | ||
