Food gets a whole lot weirder than I was giving it credit for, apparently. Is this not dangerous? I mean does the alcohol neutralize the venom or something? Just what is going on here? And where did you drink it? And what did it taste like? So many questions... I have so many.

Cordyceps is in the form of vitamin pills as well.My dad gives my family that most of the time i think.

They just take a tarantula and fry it they dont even remove the bristly hairs, i ended up eating several of the legs and the whole abdomen (managed to pass the head off to someone else). Tried not to think to much of what was in the abdomen i was eating such as what the spider had been eating previously or all the web and shit in there. OMG u r crazy

it's actually bird's saliva, because there's a type of bird that creates their nest with their saliva instead of twigs/branches. i eat it once a year because it's supposedly really healthy, which is the reason why it costs over $100 USD for about 5 bowls worth (just for the uncooked nest). it tastes really sweet. pretty fucking bomb actually.

Honeypot ant. ![]() Delicious, hard to describe the taste though. Despite their name it didn't really taste like honey. Wichetty grub. ![]() Despite their look this actually wasn't too bad. Ate the first one raw and it tasted a bit like nuts (like almonds not the other kind), weird yeah, but they feed on wood so it sort of makes sense. Lightly roasted the second and the skin sort of tasted like chicken while the inside just tasted like roasted nuts lol.

I'm pretty sure snake venom is only venomous (haha) if it gets injected into your bloodstream or your muscles (like a snakebite). It should be perfectly OK to drink. In fact cobra blood is another medicine-type drink that I think people drink in Cambodia or whatever. I'd totally try cobra alcohol but I might have to pour it into another cup first, don't really feel like swigging from a bottle that has a goddamn cobra in it.

Season 3 is in English and they have a little "side-show" called mad cook in each episode. http://www.youtube.com/user/MadventuresEN#p/u/5/rkgrP3pSU-U On the other hand, i've never eaten anything weird.
