Those little things in the urinals are quite common. I've seen little soccer goals in German urinals (Yay Germany!). They actually help the cleanliness of bathrooms, although psychologists aren't unanimous if it's because all men love to engage in shooting/aiming exercises with all parts of their body or if they just get bored if they don't have anything to do, making the piss go anywhere.

Btw, there's been a very nice book about those little incentives that tend to cause positive behavior (I know, it's too general of a definition, but I can't do it better. If interested, read the book): Thaler/Sunstein: Nudge.

One thing that's fun to do is if there's a line of 5 urinals, take the second one and see if the next person takes the fourth (continuing the inefficiency) or the fifth (which returns it to an efficient state after you leave)

I voted middle. TBH it doesn't matter which urinal I stand at, the fact remains that because of size issues I have to stand back away from the urinal quite a bit otherwise I might touch said urinal with my member.

I'd first go to the stall, to avoid all contact, if not, the one the furthest away from the entrence, if there are more than one urinal occupied, I get the fuck out of there and piss outdoors if possible.
This all comes from a strange moment when I was in Hungary in one of their famous swimming pools in Budapest. We were there on a school trip, and some random guy starts jerking off in the showers, opposite to mine.. It was pretty nausiating. Since then I prefer not to pull my pants down if male strangers are in the same room. It's a crazy world out there.

Edit: what's with all the "I take the one that's cleanest"? It's a urinal for christ sakes.. you're not in any way in contact with it, so I hardly seems how it matters, as long as none's pooped in it.

It's really hard to decide and it deppends on which one is the farthest away from the entrance.
Let's assume it's the left one.
Well, if I'm not in a hurry and the wc is frequently used, I'll choose the left one.
If it's not frequently used I might as well go for the right one.
And if I'm in a hurry and wc is not fr. used I choose without thinking (still probably one on a corner).

Imho, choosing central urinal is just a mistake (assuming you don't want to pie near to someone) and can force others either to stand next to you or go to the cabins.

I choose the right one because it is the closest one to the stall. Not because I want to be close to the stall, but because I'm assuming that the wall on the left is the left side of the entrance to the bathroom(if that makes sense?).

To try to clarify, if you enter a bathroom and the structuring of the room forces you to go right followed by a left to reach the actual urinal area.

I choose the right one because I've known assholes who immediately charge for the urinal closest to the door/entrance wall and not even look when they go up, if you get my meaning.

If you live in the U.S. then the one standard you have to go by is you do not take the urinal next to another man if you can avoid it. If we're talking about a crowded restroom, then it is acceptable as long as you look straight ahead and no where else. <=== Man law.

I had no idea that people had urinal rules so I guess there isn't a vote option for me. I just go to whatever one I'm nearest I guess and try not to stand next to a dude if possible.

On a side note I extremely rarely use the bathroom in public areas. For instance I think I literally used the school bathroom less than 10 times in all my years. I just don't get the urge when I'm not home.
