When I was a young kid my dad wasn't around, so I did get "concerned" about using the urinals when I was, say... Too old to go into the ladies with mum (lets say... 6) until I realized that in a mens toilet..... 1) Everyone has a penis. 2) Everyone needs to piss 3) No one wants to look at your dick any more than you wanna see theirs. My answer for the first question was "left" due to reading from left to right. It doesn't phase me In fact, I don't know if its an Australian thing, but the majority of mens urinals are 1 stainless steel "trough/wall" so essentially, you're sharing a pissing space, regardless, and there is no stopping a "more friendly" stranger from standing in a gap left between yourself, and another patron. See Here: http://mirror-us-ga1.gallery.hd.org/_exhibits/toilets/_more2007/_more09/gents-gentlemen-mens-well-kept-public-toilets-incluing-urinals-and-fancy-automated-wash-basins-all-white-tiles-and-stainless-steel-in-Tonbridge-Kent-England-1-DHD.jpg Right on, bro, right on - some might call me socially retarded, but I totally agree with you. I say you're a pansy if you're that scared of using the middle urinal. I do it all the time. I never cared much for arbitrary society standards anyway...they just suck all the character out of you and make you conform to a ton of needless trash.

I've had this conversation many times with friends and its one of those thing comedians talk about when comparing men to women, guys tend to go AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE from anyone else in the washroom. If its empty, I would always go to one end or the other, usually whichever is furthest from the entrance. Also..... you look right at the wall in front of you, especially if someone is right next to you, this isn't homophobic (i'm Bi anyways), any man who says otherwise is lying..... its because if you look at the guy next to you can catch a glimpse of his manhood one of two things will happen....... you will either feel inadequate or you will laugh...... both outcomes are embarressing for one party and guys don't like being embarressed ;p

You take the urinal that maximizes the potential amount of people using them, without letting anyone be next to each other. The same thing occurs if you walk into a bathroom and see one guy at the left, and one at the right. Your options are: 1. Wait (preferred) 2. Walk straight, eyes on the wall. Open fly without looking. Do your business. About face. Walk to sink. Wash hands. Leave.

Being female, I don't have to deal with that issue. Is it something do to with being afraid of the other guy accidentally peeing on you or something? I'm being completely serious. How is it awkward? On March 20 2011 05:35 neo_sporin wrote: I try to troll in real life with people I dont know so I go for the middle. As a follow up if someone comes in and uses one of the other two I will usually sway my hips to see if he tries to peek at my junk. Why would you try to get them to peek at your junk?
